Andy had just come back from the bathroom when I was about to leave and drive back to my apartment. “Look I’m sorry for storming into the bathroom and taking a long time in there, but you pissed me off. I’m not a slut and don’t like being called one. Even if it was indirectly, and was not attended.” He said in a serious tone that no one could mistake for friendly. I nodded and apologized. “I’m sorry Andy, I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. So, this red string business? Do you see it often?” I asked with as much sincerity I could manage, which for me was a surprising lot of it. Andy nodded in his agreement. “Yeah, well it’s more like it sees me. It’s hard to explain. The aura is different for everyone. By that, I mean that it’s not always red I see, sometimes it’s a multitude of different colors. Like the aura that I see from you right now is bluish red, almost purple. It’s quite beautiful actually.” That right there made me blush like no tomorrow. I couldn’t even say one single word of what I was going to respond with.
Thankfully Andy didn’t really notice. He got distracted by a beautiful girl with a strangely familiar guy. “…. Oh, crap I know that guy…. hide,” I said while tugging at Andy’s sleeve. “What? Wh-?” he tried asking before I grabbed him hard and quickly went into the bathroom with him in toe. “If you wanted to get me alone you could’ve just asked.” He said with a slight smirk on his stupidly handsome face. “Oh, haha very funny Andy,” I said with a roll of my eyes to emphasize I was not amused. He got the hint. Give the boy a medal! “No, but seriously why are we in here?” He asked with a curious look on his face. “That guy that just came in with that girl. I know them.” I said in a low tone. “Right, so what? Are, they friend or foe?” He asked, again with concern in those beautiful emerald eyes of his. I could look in those emerald irises forever. “Well?” he continued, still waiting for my response.
“Huh? Wait what were we talking about again? I’m sorry, I got caught up in your eyes Andy. They are by far the most beautiful shade of green I’ve seen on anyone.” That gave him a twitch to the right side of his mouth. “Well, darlin’ you like what you see? You’re gonna love this,” before I could say anything he smashed his lips against mine in the most delicious way possible. I was in a dazed and only wanted more. I smashed my lips to his with more passion than I thought possible. We kept at this until we both were out of breath. I stop the kissing long enough to get out a moan. “Andy, please… I need more!” He gave me the most dazzling smile I’ve ever seen. “Baby, you had me at please.” He growled low in his throat, as he continued leaving me breathless.
We could’ve lost all control in that Starbucks bathroom, but we didn’t. He left first, and after a few minutes, I slowly left through the door of the restroom. Lips red and swollen, blushing like a madman. We said our goodbyes afterwards, and went our separate ways. The first thing I did after I got back to my apartment was call Arian. She picked up after two rings, “Hey bud what’s up?” she asked when she answered the phone. “Oh, you know same ole same ole. Though not anymore. I got kissed in a Starbucks restroom.” I blurted out. “Wait! What!!!?” Arian gasped out exaggerating a little bit. “Yeah, remember Andy?” I asked. “The hot guy with emerald eyes?” she asked, then added, “You got kissed by him!!!!!!!? Oh, my god dude that’s awesome. How was he?” I shrugged to myself, then said, “Come over?” “Will there be deep dish pizza and a bottle of vodka?” Arian asked. “Girl, just get your ass over here. This can’t be said over the phone.” I said quite forcefully, though my tone didn’t remotely express that. “I’ll be over in five,” Arian said.
True to her word Arian was at my doorstep in five minutes. I wonder how many traffic violations came into play for that the happen. I opened the door and she rushed in. Now to describe Arian would be like describing the vastness of space. Sure, I could tell you about her five foot four stature, and her perfectly structured face. I could tell you that her dirty blonde hair, and golden brown eyes, compliment her and her square rimmed glasses give her a smart, but cute look. I could also say that her fashion sense is on point with the latest trends. But what really matters is that she’s one of my best friends, and she came when I called.
Arian brought her husband Alan with her. Even after having popped out one kid, she still looks great but exhausted. “So!!!! Spill bruh!!!” She said while making herself comfortable on my couch. “Okay, well you know how I had that nightmare about him, blood, and the cloaked figure right?” I asked. “Right! What’s that got to do with it?” she asked while ordering pizza on her phone. “Well I called him up, and we met at Starbucks near the university. I wanted to tell him about it, and long story short I saw an ole friend and freaked. I grabbed him and made it to the restroom. He said a corny pickup line, which I didn’t find funny. But, anyway we were so close, and I got a good long look into his eyes and lost my train of thought, then he just kissed me. The crazy thing is it was one of the hottest kisses I’ve ever received; -” I was interrupted by a knock on the door. “Oh, that’s pizza,” Arian said heading to the door grabbing her purse for a tip, and pen.
After getting the pizza and tip taken care of, I put out three paper plates and napkins. Each of us got two slices of pizza and went back to the couch. I continued with my story which was almost finished before the pizza guy got to my place. “As I was saying he kissed me, and I totally kissed back, which was weird. I don’t know what it is about Andy, but when he kissed me there was this spark. We’ve only known each other for a couple of months. Arian, I don’t know what to do.” I said. Arian took a minute to take it all in. “It sounds like to me you know what you need to do, but are scared, because of that precog-dream you had. Look, Stevan, you know I love you and that you helped me out the last time you had one of them, but for all you know it was just a normal nightmare” Arian said while picking up her slice of pizza and taking a bite out of it.
I knew Arian could be right, but after she and Alan left, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It was hard for me to do much else that day. I just went to bed and hoped that I didn’t have another precog-dream. I fell asleep right around eleven-thirty. Thankfully my dreams were filled with that kiss, and Andy’s lips which instantly got me hot and bothered. Damn him for being such a great kisser.
