Hannah went off to stand by Mike and them while Holly and I stretched at our "finish line" marked by the front door.

I finished stretching and shook myself out, Holly glanced at me and smiled.

Why is she smiling?

Who cares?

"You ready?"

"Yeah, you?"

"Always am, smart one."

Mike shouted for us to take our marks. I bent over and touched the ground in a similar position as Holly. He gave us the go signal and we both sprung into action. She took the head start with me lagging just a bit behind, keeping my speed steady.

Her long hair streamed behind her, waving like a dragon's tail. She glanced back at me and I sped up to get ahead of her.

Holly's POV

Of course Kian won. I knew he would, so it's no surprise, I just hate that he let me think I was winning for so long. He's such a tease.

Don't even start.

I wasn't gonna say anything.

After the race Arturo wanted to talk to me to get my decision about being his Luna. We stood outside the pack house while Roberto got all their things together inside. He took up one of my hands in his and led me to sit on the steps leading up to the door.

He so looked completely confident in my answer that it made me rethink my decision. I had only made it in such a short time, a life changing decision for me and the people around me.

"Your decision, it's made?"

"It is," I took a deep breath but that didn't stop my heartbeat from going haywire," It wasn't easy but it I guess I never expected anything like this to be. I think I've made the right one."

"I think you have, too. What is it?"

"I-," another deep breath," I can't go with you."

"I see," he nodded, removing his hand from mine," You realize that he will never love you? Not while that Hannah girl is here."

"This wasn't a decision made because of Kian, it's because of Nova and Luke. They're all the family I have, they're home. I can't leave that."

"I understand. You're certain of this? This is what you want?"

"Yes. I'm going to stay right here. To be honest, it's probably the best choice," I stood up and offered him my hand for him to do the same," I'd get burnt to a crisp in Mexico."

"Can't have that."

"No, we can not."

"I'm going to go help Roberto with the luggage. He might seem all big an tough but he can't pack a bag to save his life."

"Ok, if anyone asks where I am just tell them I went out for a walk."

"I will."

He turned around and went inside. I made the right choice, I could never be with out my siblings, being with out Kian is hard enough. I couldn't imagine life with out Nova and Luke.

The air had the feel of rain, I hurried through the woods to get back. I'd been walking around for hours and was lost beyond all belief. Every few seconds I stop and listen for a scout or a river or another stray wolf, preferably one who knew how to get out. It was getting dark out and I could barely make out a left from a right, let alone the trees in front of me.

I was about ready to give up and just call Luke to bail his little sister out of forest jail when I heard a twig snap. My head jerked up to see Hannah standing there in all her bitchy glory. The first few rain drops began to fall on us so I crossed my arms to keep warm.

"What are you doing out here?"

"I came here to warn you, stay away from Kian."

"Why would I do that?"

"Because he's mine, I don't give a damn if you are or aren't his mate. Leave him alone."

"How did you-"

We both jerked our heads in the direction of the scent. It was new, minty and... content? 2 large men came nearer us and we both stiffened. I turned around a second later to glance at her but she was already gone.

Coward.

The men both looked solely at me as if they were trying to recognize something in me

"Hello, ma'am."

"Who are you and why are you in the Jade Forest territory," I asked strongly, taking the step closer to them.

"We're looking for someone in particular, perhaps you know of her- Nova Sterling?"

"I know her."

"Would you let her know where we are? It's urgent that we see her."

"Why do you need to see her?"

"I told you, it's urgent."

"Whatever you need, you can take it up with me."

"Are you Miss. Sterling, then?"

"I am," I replied, not missing a beat," Why do you want me? I have a lot to do."

"You need to come with us."

"Why?"

"You are 1 of 3 of your kind, do you have any idea what that makes you to our kind?"

"No, what does that make me?"

"That makes you the perfect gift for our king," he smiled at me and I took a step backwards, stumbling on a rock and falling over onto the dark ground.

"What will he do with me?"

He didn't reply, only stepped closer and knelt down to be face to face with me. The rain got harder and I looked over my shoulder and let out a whimper of despair. The tracks I'd made and Hannah had made earlier were gone. They would never be able to find me.

One of the men came over to me and scooped me up, arms pinned behind me so I couldn't fight or move.

"Let's go, oracle."

The other one pulled his fist back before bringing it forward against my chin with enough power to render me unconscious.

And it did.

Hey, so I'm evil and I'm going to leave at this point because I can. I just wanted to say that I have the chapters up to number 20 finished. I want to put out more episodes but I'm not sure how. Any ideas?
