"That was quick."

"It's for my parents, Vincent. You already know what happened."

Vincent put his hand onto Kyle's shoulder, "yes, I do."

"Then let's go man." Vincent and Kyle step through the portal, "this is really convenient."

"We just have to be at a safe place so no one can see us."

"It's nighttime but this place haven't change one bit since over ten years ago."

"Except for some people."

"Oh yeah, probably my childhood friends left this neighbourhood a time ago."

"It seems a possibility." Vincent said, "come with me and see what happen to your house."

Kyle lets Vincent to grab his hand to pull him to a small restaurant. It was Kyle's old home. In the parking lot, he sees a couple that he recognized a long time ago but Kyle doesn't have any courage.

"Can we go inside, Vincent?"

"Yes, of course." Vincent opens the door and Kyle looks at the photographs. It was him and his parents together, "this place. I work here with Michael and the owner to protect this place. The owner put those photographs of your family because of what happened. I believe that one day that you'll come back and know what this place was to you."

"Ahh, Vincent. How good it is to see you!"

"Good actually, not coming in for work today actually."

"That's fine and who is this behind you?"

"Oh it's the little boy from those pictures you hang up."

"Oh, then it will be alright that I'll take you to another room and give you something."

"Yeah."

"Michael, take care of my shift for me."

"Okay," Michael said as he was making fried rice."

"I'll stay over here with Michael," Vincent said, "boss you'll give him stuff."

"Okay, I'll show this boy around."

The two left the room and Vincent and Michael were serving the customers. As the orders were flying through, the couple just came in ask for something.

"Hey waiter!" The young man waved his hand at Vincent.

Vincent puts the dirty dishes down at the back of the room, "just hold on a minute."

Vincent took out his cashbook from the pocket, "is there anything else you want?"

"My girlfriend and I recoginzed that young man you brought in. You finally found the boy from those pictures around the resturant."

"Yeah, I did. He was a little too scared to go home where this place was. It's like a waterfall of emotions of this place. He witness his parents being slaughter to death. Plus he got kidnapped by them."

"When you found him? Did he still act like a child?"

"Well, he's adjusting to it for what happen."

"I am glad that you found him," the young woman said, "is he coming back to school?"

"I've discuss it with him if he can come in for college because he lost all the times in high school. He actually agreed to it that he wants to go to college. Though it is going to be hard from him. Starting from the bottom again."

"Is it alright to come onto the grade cruise party. We can invite him."

"He's not really good with social interactions but it's my problem so I have to go with him."

"That will be great," she said, "I was a good friend of..."

"Kyle..."

"Yeah Kyle."

"Don't worry about it and don't talk about him coming on. Just to the school."

"Great."

After a few hours of Vincent conversation with the young couple. They payed the bill and left. Michael is washing the dishes in the back while Vincent counts the cash for today.

"That fox spirit is taking his time to take to your servant," Michael said as he was cleaning the last pot

"You know I forgot what I was doing here anyways."

"Vincent!"

"Sorry, sorry. Your great grandfather's carving of that humaniod fox is a great idea for this shop in Ruby's world."

"I don't really know about my great grandparents that much." Michael said, "I know that papi is a human but he's creates monsters and summons them. That is what Red told me a long time ago. Even though Colours of the Universe did created the universes. I'm trying to figure out what grandfather was doing at the time to protect the child and went all the way to the beginning of time."

"Though it is weird that everything is the same or how time started. You created the humans while that couple is handling the things that come back to the world and who gets eaten by them."

"You knew about Reincarnation?"

"I only met them once when this body died. However, I am not original soul for this body. I'm a different soul."

"That means you are."

"I did not kill her."

"Even still, I still don't trust you." Michael said, "even though you're still human or whatever you are."

"Yeah, yeah I heard you a bunch of times."

Vincent sat down on the chair, "hey!? You shouldn't sit down." Vincent didn't say anything to Michael but a familiar song that he starts to hum, "urg....fine."

Michael sits down in front of him, "joining the party, Michael?"

"What the goddamn are you doing?"

"Singing."

"Stop that! What you keep on protecting me if you don't like doing that."

Vincent sat back into his chair, "look I once loved someone. That person I cared about. Died. What is the point of sticking around with someone if you're going to screw with their life."

"Vincent!" Boss said, "we need to talk. Outside."

"Fine."

The two went outside but can feel the presence of Michael and Kyle. Boss has a very angry expression on his face.

"Look Boss, I'm sorry that I yelled in your restaurant. I just got mad at Michael."

"You gave your promise to her, right." Boss said, "so act like you do care about that boy."

"He's so stubborn but I have to protect him."

"These kinds of things that you're doing right now is putting that boy at risk. You don't want to reject you even further."

"Yeah, yeah I know that already."

"Good and now would you promise her that. If you can do those things, maybe you're able to control the darkness within you. She promised you that she will cure it."

"What happens if Red did cure it!" Michael said.

"Michael!?" Vincent pretends to be surprised.

"Will you go away if you're cured?"

"That is not I was intending to do."

"Why not! You can just leave!"

Michael walks away but Vincent reaches out to Michael's arm, "hey!"

Michael widens his eyes of the suddenly presence. Vincent accidentally transfer a piece of his memory to Michael.

"No, no, no!" Vincent said as a mysterious figure stabs Vincent's leg and cuts the wound open.

Michael watches Vincent screaming in pain as the light sheds into the figure and it was Kyle. However, Kyle looks different with his face putting on a huge grin like he is enjoying himself.

Kyle proceeds to take up some scissors, "you keep on screaming way too much."

Kyle uses the scissors to slash and cuts where his cheek bones are to the ends of Vincent's lips. Kyle clips off the tongue while the force of his hand pushes down the lower jaw until it breaks down to his chest. Michael sees the muscle still attaches itself to the skull.

"Hey?" Vincent said to Michael, "ah shit! I accidentally gave him my memories."

Vincent picks up the young man into his arms, "are you two coming back and work."

"I'll give some re-animation to that other fox carving."

"Isn't going to kill you?"

"No, it's alright. It's pretty low level magic plus I got some boosters so I don't really even use that much magic."

"Take you time, Vincent."

"Okay and also Kyle come outside with me."

Vincent opens up at portal to Green's world as the three went to the other side.
