“There… why are there… What are kids doing here?!” There was a voice from behind me. I could feel someone’s gaze looking in at us all.
“Yulia… let us in?...” Amy seemed to question her own words as she stared at the person behind me. I looked around too, there was a young woman with amber hair loosely tied back from her pale face. She was wearing a labcoat that was too big for her.
The lady turned much paler, “Y-Yulia… died last week due to an accident with her gasmask not being secured properly.” The lady was almost whispering, “Her death was being kept secret from the public. But… lab’s workers’ names are kept secret too. How on Earth did you even find Yulia’s name?”
“There… was a woman who greeted us at the door, she said that her name was Yulia Chaykovsky.” Cameron was wiping his bloody hands on his jeans.
The lady’s face managed to get even whiter. “Get out.” She barely got the words out, “You’re taking my car to the hospital. I’m driving you.”
There was ominous laughter in the dark hallway, “No…” It was a thick Russian accent. “You’re staying here. Forever.” The same woman who had greeted us at the door stepped out of the shadows, she was holding her gasmask in her hand now and her face was contorted into an inhumane smile, she was walking very, very slowly towards me.
