After working on a failing project, my urge tells me to go on a vacation.
I went somewhere deep in the forest.
Maybe, I can start living here.
To be surrounded by trees and, plants feel refreshing.
Chirping birds in the morning and the sound of crickets on the evening are calming.
I bought things that I need.
Food, flashlights, fire starters, books...
Anything that is necessary.
I'm living in a cabin.
There are a kitchen and small toilet.
A small bed which is beside a window.
A table for one and a small fireplace.
It's just a simple cabin and it makes me feel safe.
But that safety won't last.
Every night, before I sleep.
I feel someone is staring at me.
Everywhere I go, I feel someone is following me and watching every move I make.
"This is crazy!"
"I'm the only one who knows this place!"
"No one!"
"Only me!"
This uneasiness won't stop.
I shut myself inside the cabin.
I put locks on the door and cover the windows.
Now, no one will stare at me at night and no one will follow me everywhere.
But the uneasiness is still there.
I try to sleep and I fall into a deep sleep.
I woke up after long hours of sleep and found something besides me.
It's a gun.
I shocked and I feel terrified.
"Why there's a gun here?!?!"
I'm tremendously shaking.
I look at the door and the locks are still fine.
I look at the window it was heavily shut.
"What a cozy cabin."
"..."
"You think you can escape?"
A deep voice heard out of nowhere.
"You think this is freedom?"
The voice continues to speak.
"You think this is peace?"
"Now, look at the gun. It holds the answers."
I look at the gun and slowly take it.
"I remember, I bring a gun."
Now, all I remember was the loud bang.
