When I came too I expected to be half drowned on the grass with a handsome prince standing over me. But I was only half right. I woke up in a field with a cow staring at me.
"Who are you lookin at," I said trying to intimidate the creature. I knew I must be dreaming or something. I was also half delirious because I almost died. Wait. I had a million questions. Where was I? Who saved me? Where was the Castle?
"FATHER," I called out for my father. I sounded like a whiny little girl if you ask me. An oldish man ran up the hill as fast as his legs could carry him. He looked concerned.
"Whats wrong kiddo," he reached down and picked me up and resembled someone I knew.
"Father," I inquired, "Is that you?"
"Who else would it be doodlebug," he looked like he was in a good mood and I knew what this meant. My father and I were farmers.
"Darling, why did Amber call out," It was my mother. And she wasn't dead.
