There I was. Standing in front of the new school that I was supposed to go to.
It looked like a normal everyday school, except for the guy staring at me. He had short black hair, that contrasted with his pale skin and wore a grey shirt and black pants. He looked cute.
Wait!! Why am I thinking that?!? I blushed and ran inside.
It took me about 10 minutes to find the principles office, which was located on the second floor.
I knocked on the door.
"Come in." I heard the principle.
I walked in. The principle was an old man with white hair and a white mustache. He was wearing a white shirt with a tie, and black pant's.
I took the seat that was in front of him.
"Ah. You must be Andrew King. I'm Mr. Jenkins." He said.
"Yeah," I said.
"Ok, here's your schedule." He said as he handed me a slip of paper.
"Thank's," I said as I got up.
"Ok, have a good day." He said as I walked through the door.
I went into the hallway and looked at the paper. It read:
Classroom # 103
I try looking for my class, but of course being at a new school, I got lost, and I was too lazy to go back to the principles.I was a lazy person.
"Are you lost?" I turned around and saw the cute boy from earlier.
"Yeah. Do you know where room 103 is?" I asked him.
"Yeah, I'll show you where it is," He said.
"Thank 's," I said.
"No problem." He said as he smiled.
He turned around and motioned me to follow. We walked for a few minutes before stopping at a door.
"Room 103." He said as he opened the door.
"Mr. Shen, your late." He said.
"I was helping the new student, sorry." He said. Then Mr. Len noticed me.
"You must be Andrew." He said.
I nodded.
"Ok, your seat is going to be in the back." He said as he pointed to an empty seat.
"ok," I said as I walked to where he was pointing. It was next to a window.
Yes! Now I could stare out the window while the teacher made us learn boring lessons that I probably already know.
I sat down and Mr. Len started the class.
I was right.
It was a boring lesson that I already knew.
The period went by quickly as I stared out the window.
"Hey." It was the boy from earlier.
I waved at him lazily.
I'm a very lazy person.
"Do you want to eat lunch with me?" He said.
"Sure. I have nothing better to do." I said lazily.
We went to the cafeteria and ate our food.
This reminded me of those times when you were in elementary when your friend's had Lunchables and cookies for their lunch while you had a sorry excuse for a sandwich.
I had a cheese sandwich, while he had a salad.
I really wanted to ask him to switch lunches.
"So, I never got your name," I said to him.
"Oh! Yeah, it's Triston." He said.
"May I ask you a question?" He asked.
"Sure," I said.
"When did you move here? And Why?" He asked.
"I moved here last week, and my parents like to move a lot, and I don't, so I decided to stay with my uncle," I said.
"Cool. Who's your uncle?" He asked.
"A person who lives's in this city," I said sarcastically.
"Well, obviously, but where does he work? And what's his name?" He asked.
"He works at Stargazer Ink. And his name is Jakob King." I said.
"Oh! I've heard of him! He's really popular for coming up with the idea of the XPhone 1500!" He said.
"Yep. That's him." I said.
I finished eating my lunch while he talked about stuff.
Then the bell rang and we went to class.
This class, was the most BORING class I've EVER HAD. Now let me tell you, I've been in a class where the boringness is like at a 5 out of 10, or even a 9. But here. It was over 9000.
I was looking forward to when that class ended, and it was mostly because I got to go home after that.
"Hey Andrew!" Triston came over to me.
"Hey..." I said tiredly.
Hey. Don't get me wrong, the class was that boring.
"You look tired. Did you have Ms. Sen?" He asked.
I nodded lazily.
"Ya, she's known for being boring and having boring classes. Well anyway, wanna hang out?" He asked.
"Sure. Why not?" I said.
"Good! A new restaurant opened and I've been wanting to try it!" He said as he took my hand and made stand up.
"Sure." I said.
We walked there. It was only a few blocks away. It was actually close to my house.
The restaurant sold really good ramen.
After eating, we exchanged numbers for some reason.
I walked home and went straight to my room.
I flopped on the bed, ready to take a nap when I heard my phone buzz.
[Hey]
It was Triston.
[meh]
[want to do the homework?]
[we had homework?]
[ya, for Mr. Len]
[oh. What's the homework?]
[to do # 30-32]
[mkay. Sure, we can do it together.]
[k. I'll call you.]
bzzzt bzzzt
"Hi." I said.
"Sup." he said.
-----
We did the homework. It was really easy.
The first question was 2x+3=8x-5+3.
Ok. At least I thought it was easy.
"So. I need you to tell me how you thought the ramen was." He said.
"It was good," I said.
"Just good? Was it not delicious?" He said
"Goodbye." I was not going to put up with him when I was this tired.
"Nuuuuuuuuu! I'm sorry! Dun't lev meh" He said in a child-like manner.
I chuckled a little.
"I'm going to sleep. Bye." I said as I hung up the phone.
At least I have a friend.
There was no way I could keep friends because my parent's like to move a lot.
He would be my first friend since elementary.
I fell asleep thinking about it.
