“Yusuke!” Emily stomped her feet on the table she stood upon “Lord Komijiari demands of us this evening!”

Yusuke was staring at me with bewildered look on his face “Mio...?”

I raised my hand “I’m not getting in on this.”

Before he could turn to look at Martin “me either. You started this.”

      “D-did not!” Yusuke shouted trying not to crush the ice-cream he held in his hand “y-you guys did!”

      “I did. Didn’t I?” I laughed as Martin shook his head in disagreement.

      “If anything.” Martin said playfully kicking the bottom of my shoe “it was me.”

      “We’ll share the blame.” He nodded.

      “You two are downright, evil!” Yusuke shouted.

I shrugged “possibly.”

      “Most defiantly.” Martin agreed

       “Oh, Father. How I know you detest of thou flesh and blood.” Emily proclaimed to the sky “ignore me, disown me, but your blood runs through these vines. Your power is shared with me and for that, you cannot deny me.” Her hand fell over her left eye “I will now defy thy entire existence as thy hast to I.” Her other hand outreached to Yusuke “by kissing a demon that inhabits the body of this boy. A kiss that will unite our souls in marriage.”

       “Marriage?!” Yusuke finally dropped the cone “W-wait, what?”

        “Guess that makes us brothers.” Martin placed his hand on his shoulder and squeezed “family, now.”

        “S-stop! Joking around!” Yusuke smacked Martin’s hand away “I’m too young and I don’t even know her like that!”

       “Don’t deny a Goddess her heart!” Her arms flew open “Lord Komijiari, you demand of us to become one. I’ve answered your summoning.” She went to one knee “Yusuke, free my lord from his shackles!”

Yusuke started to back up staring at her “N-no, thanks.”

        “Deny me?” Emily lifted her hand into the air “a mere host, to ignore me? The daughter of a God? Release my lord.”

        “NO!”

        “You heard her.”

         “Shut up, Mio!” Yusuke shouted and pointed at her “you two started this, now stop it.”

Emily began to violently shake as she lifted her arms up “I’d wished we would have avoided any conflict. I would hate to damage the host. However,” She began snapping her fingers “I’m not afraid to do what must be done.”

        “Stop her!” Yusuke looked at Martin who simply shrugged at him “please?”

        “Level fifteen storm magic.” Emily paused and looked at Yusuke with a crooked smile “Kiss of Oblivion!”

        “H-hey! Hey! You can’t cast level fifteen spells!”

        “A Goddess can do anything she wishes.” She stopped snapping “come to me. Succubus!”

         “NO SUMMONING MAGIC EITHER!” Yusuke shouted.

Martin turned to me “eight-graders syndrome. I kind of miss it.”
 “Really?” I asked trying not to laugh.
 “No. Not really.” He laughed.

          “Oh, my Goddess!” A high pitched squeaky voice startled us all “she’s so cute!” A girl with bright blue hair ran up to Emily “calling out to a succubus at such a young age.”

           “Aoi! Stop annoying these kids.” A man holding the hand of another man walked over to us.

          “Isn’t she cute, Hypnos?”

The man lifted his brow “I don’t know how cute it is to try and summon a succubus.”

            “Even more summon one with a penis.”

            “Quiet, Kinky,” Hypnos mumbled jabbing him in the side.

            “Your call and summon has been answered, how may I serve?” Aoi bowed to Emily “I’m Aoi. Daughter of the God of Nightmares, hailing from the dream of Lethe, and a powerful succubus.”

            “I thought you had to be a kid to have eighth-graders syndrome,” Martin whispered.

            “Apparently not.” I looked at the strange woman in front of us “she looks like she about thirty.”

            “What did you say?” Aoi turned around to look at me “it’s her. You wish her dead, Master?”
 Emily got a wicked smile on her face “no, my pet.” She pointed to Yusuke “I need his body.”

            “Guess that’s it for a nice vacation.” Hypnos sighed taking a seat beside me “I’m sorry for her.”

            “It’s alright.” Martin said smiling extending a hand “Names Martin.”

           “Hypnos.” He said taking Martin’s hand “and this adorable abomination is Kinky.” He pointed to the man standing now with his arm crossed watching Aoi and Emily.

          “What brings you here?” I asked.

          “It was originally a vacation away from the city in an attempt to find an apple.” Hypnos rolled his eyes “but this town isn’t very welcoming to foreigners.” He looked at Martin “I can only imagine, how it was for you.”

Martin nodded.

        “Hey.” I hit him in his side “I was nice to you.”

         “After the ritual.”

         “Ritual?” Hypnos leaned forward.

         “It’s nothing.” I said “weird village customs.”

         “Hold him still, my pet!” Emily slowly got off the table, making sure to make it dramatic.

         “As you will it.” Aoi had Yusuke pinned to the ground.

         “Let me go!” He screamed, “let me go!”

         “This is getting exciting!” Kinky laughed “the only thing that would make this better, would be popcorn!”

         “With this kiss. I set you free Lord Komijiari.” Emily lowered herself on the ground “and unite us.” She puckered up her lips.

         “Aoi!” Another voice screamed, “get off him!”

         “Oh great.” Kinky hissed “it’s Yuuta-kun here to ruin the fun.”

Another man walked over to us “I can’t leave you three alone for five seconds without you taking advantage of kids. We don’t need an episode 4, Coco was enough.”

         “Stop making references to that show.” Hissed Hypnos “it’s bad enough that weird phycologist always talks about that.”

         “What show?” I asked.

         “Don’t ask anymore.” Hypnos was looking dead straight into my eyes “just don’t.”

         “It’s time to leave. The train departs in about five.”
 “I call the seat next to Yuuta!” Aoi shot up off of Yusuke “Yuuuuuuuuuuuta!!!!!”

         “No.” He said looking at Hypnos “we’re sitting together.”

Kinky grabbed Hypnos “quit trying to steal my wife!”
 “Wife?” I asked.

Hypnos looked at me apologetically “sorry about this.”

         “Don’t be sorry.” Martin said laughing “this was great!”

         “Glad we could keep you entertained.” Hypnos got up and bowed “it was nice to meet you, hopefully, we will meet again.” He looked at me “didn’t catch your name.”

          “Mio,” I said softly.

He looked at me for a moment as if he was about to say something “really?”

I raised my brow “Yeah.”
 “Strange.” He smiled and bowed “well it’s nice to meet you again, Mio-chan.” And with that, the four of them left in the direction of the train station.

         “What was that about?” I asked looking at Martin.

         “A Tokyo thing?” He shrugged “I heard people in Tokyo are a little. Off.”
 “Not that off.” I said, “did you see those two men holding hands?”

        “Not uncommon where I’m from.”
 “Really?” I couldn’t hide my excitement.

        “Not very common here, I take it?” Martin laughed as I shook my head.

        “OH MY GOD!”

We both turned to see Emily still on the ground and Yusuke covered in red lipstick “how could you do this?” Yusuke shouted “Now Komijiari will never come out! He wants to live the single life.”
 Emily was bright red “t-that was my first kiss.”

        “And mine!” Yusuke shouted, “and you stole it!” He looked at me for a split second and I could see the hurt in his eyes.

Emily stood up “S-stupid Yusuke!” And she ran in the opposite direction.

       “What was that?” Yusuke shouted.

       “Can you handle that baby?” Martin asked pointing to Yusuke “and I’ll handle mine.”
 I nodded and he smiled “catch you tomorrow.” He took my hand before I could it away “happy Valentine’s day.” And he kissed it and ran off after his sister.

       “Martin!” I shouted, “what’s Valentine’s day?”

He turned around a winked.

       “That didn’t answer my question,” I shouted watching him run off into the town.
