When I come back to myself, I look into a glaring light. I'm getting used to the bright light. There's a nurse with me. My neck is dry and my tongue is numb, I feel like I've been run over. With my dry voice I'm cawing that I'm fine, although it's not true, but since I'm awake I have only one thing in my head. The room and the half-dead body. Slowly I take everything around me again. And the nurse pulls me out of my thoughts and asks me one question after another about my well-being, but I don't even hear her voice properly. I can only think of this one thing, everything around me is blown away. I try to sit down, my head hurts, only now I notice the bandage and the many devices connected to me. I can hardly sit properly, the pain crawls into every fibre of my body. I collect slowly and ask the nurse:"Where am I? How did I get here and how long did I sleep?".
"Someone else will explain all this to you, tell me how you feel and if you're hungry?" she answers stupidly.
