Harold's TV always agreed with him.

It always showed him whatever he wanted to see. His heart's desire right on time, even if he wasn't aware that he wanted it.

It never disagreed with him. It never showed things that he didn't like, or beliefs he didn't agree with, or lifestyles he couldn't accept.

It was a mirror back into his mind.

And he never learned anything. And he never grew. And he died without seeing anything beyond his little world.
