I fell in love with Earth.

Her body held an abundance of lives,

each relying on her to survive.

She was their kingdom, kind and forgiving,

regardless of those who stepped on her efforts.

I fell in love with her core,

whose warmth touched my heart more than the orbit ever could.

Alas, her heart was split in two;

between Sun and Moon.

One held the fire of a star,

offering heat from afar.

The other waltzed with her,

always going toe-to-toe.

Who was I to compete?

Just a Pluto,

who could only dream of being within her reach.
