In the corners of the senior's house, there are fake spiders weaving their fake cobwebs, the ceilings have ghosts and bats scarily above everyone’s heads. The end tables are overflowing with Halloween snacks and treats as the tables are lit with tiny glowing carved pumpkins. The house pulsed with the loud music as the streams of teenagers in costume laughing, dancing, eating and drinking. 

"I have to see Danny." I thought to myself as I weave through the heavy crowds. 

"OOuf. Excuse me?"  I say, as I start feeling overwhelmed by all the sounds and crowds of people.

Looking in front of me, a familiar voice says "Kippy?"

"Ren?" I ask taking a breath.

We pause, looked at we each and both say at the same time "Nice costume!"

"A werewolf?" Ren asks.

"Trying to be.” I reply.

“Your costume is a vampire, right?" I ask, nearly forgetting all the noise around me.

"Yeah, it is.” He replies.

 “Where's your friend?" He asks.

 “I haven't seen her inside the house but Danny's here somewhere. Maybe she's outback...?"

"Follow me" I say as I head towards the back door, covering my ears remembering the noise around me.

The music gets starts getting louder.
