People were looking and staring at her as she walked through the large corridors of her school. She ignored their big-eyed glares, lost in thought.
'Of course, everyone would recognize my face.' she grunted angrily and kicked a stone. 'If only they hadn't put me in the newspaper!!'
When she looked up, she saw tons of people jumped back. "Oops!" she looked around. Everyone was looking at her more frighteningly. She quickly scurried away in embarrassment.
"Did I yell out?" she asked her friends that were standing in a corner. Both of them nodded sadly.
"Yes," said Haru. "We're sorry for your loss." They looked down and suddenly both of them started shaking. Etsu sighed and shook her head, staring at them.
"Sure you are." Haru and Kari looked up with grins on their faces and burst out laughing.
"HAHAHAHA," They yelled out. "You should have seen yourself! That was hilarious." Etsu sighed again and turned to start walking to class. They followed her and linked her arms.
By the time they reached class, she was thinking about what to do with her life. A thought struck her mind.
"Maybe..." When she went home she immediately ran to Masuto, her butler.
"Would it be possible for aunt and uncle to stay here to take care of me?" she offered. He smiled at her and nodded.
"Of course!" he agreed. "Your parents left you yesterday so now, you can get them to replace them." he went to the phone and fulfilled her request.
Etsu's aunt and uncle aren't people that Etsu favored anyways. But all she wanted was someone to take care of her apart from the butler (Masuto) that is only 1 year older than her.
She was excited until the relatives actually came. They were mean, snobbish, and greedy people; someone that Etsu Saburo does not want to become. But even if she will cherish the time she has with them.
Until something bad happens to Etsu's aunt and uncle...
