My name is Hiram and I like to blog about stuff on the Internet, especially about my friend that I live with--Milo, an unhappy young man, troubled by the downward spiraling trend of his life. Milo doesn’t know I write about him on the Internet. But Milo also doesn’t know a lot of things about me. He rarely pays attention. You see, Milo just assumes I am what I am, just a run-of-the-mill servant who looks after him.
I also should mention that I’m a robot. Yes, Hiram the robot; second generation Companion-oid with a plus-five sense of humor module. I still unfortunately look like a C-3PO from the Star Wars movies, even though technology has far surpassed me. You see, Companion-oids are incredibly life-like human replicas that can easily pass for being human. Not me though; I’m an old, out-of-date, obsolete model. Thank goodness I’ve learned it’s what’s on the inside that counts, or I’d have zero self-esteem.
