Hot action, hot vampires, and hotter guys! The Unquenchable Mr. Kim is back and has everyone quivering with excitement and anticipa…….tion. Which means, it’s time to talk about why everyone is just so excited about its return.
What is it about this series that has fans so thirsty for more? Why are they craving the next sip of this vampiric drama? Let’s break down what makes the series SO good.

Mmm, yes. That about sums it up. Pretty boys, vampire, height difference, one determined man lusting after another who is shy and hesitant—it’s pretty much a recipe that many BL lovers look for. But wait, there’s more! There’s a story behind the romance: half-vampire Doyun is struggling to survive in a world that’s starting to realize that his kind exists all while trying to literally survive by taking essence from others. Except for some reason, it’s not working! And while dealing with this, his boss is suddenly in love with him, his caretaker is clearly hiding something, and he’s just so tired! Give this boy a break! Or don’t, BL fans do enjoy at least one of them suffering, right? It’s ok to admit it. And between his admittedly aggressive pursuit of Doyun, Chief Gangwoo shows us some serious emotion! How often has there been a tall, dark, and handsome character like Gangwoo be so open with his heart?? Swoon! Between all the spicy scenes we are getting some serious feels from both our boys and knowing that Doyun’s life is on the line too...gah! It’s time to go catch up—Right. Now.
Ghosts, zombies, and time travel! Sometimes there needs to be a little bit of spoopy in BL to really add a level of thrill! Thankfully, Crimson Tracks has all of that! And, just in time for its 3rd anniversary, it’s coming back with even more. Get ready to continue down the haunted tracks with Sylva and Marcel as they try to help their friends and figure out the secret behind Sylva’s bone-chilling vision! So what makes this BL so unique and worth the read? What’s the pull? First off, the two characters are designed to have that mid-2000s edgy boy appeal that many early BL fans grew up with and is honestly…*chef’s kiss*

Plus, the fact that Crimson Tracks not only starts off with and deals with darker tones but then slowly builds up towards lighter and happier feels, is a really beautiful progression. Watching Sylva and Marcel both learn and transition from their emotional traumas is such a heartwarming experience. And even better? They’re doing it together AND on their own. An important lesson. The other fun thing about this series? Zombies! But not in the traditional, end of the world, dystopian sense! The way the author handles the creepy factor is really cool and creative. Finally, the one thing everyone is here for, the one thing that everyone both hates and loves—the slow burn! Hey, it’s definitely worth the wait to when these two finally kiss, right? But when will they finally get some peace from the dreams and the dark spirit that seems to be following them? When can they just live happily in their new country home and run their sweet little vet clinic and have that adorable domestic bliss?? Who wouldn’t want to be the object of desire of four incredibly handsome men? It’s like being in an otome game! Which is pretty much the feeling that My Four Masters give, clueless MC and all. But just how can a series with four gorgeous men and one seemingly normal, uninterested guy be so captivating?

Second, think about the chase. These men are determined to get who they want. And oh do they want it bad. Nothing is hotter than seeing a very sexy man get what he wants. But also, nothing is more amusing than seeing him fail. It’s even more amusing to see a group of them fail. Repeatedly. Especially when they come oh-so-close. This is what gives My Four Masters its charm. There’s always the drama of ‘is this the moment?’ ‘will this master be the winner?’ Because everyone has their favorite that they’re rooting for! The one that they hope will finally win the heart of the love they’re seeking. Even if he is really oblivious to it all. Although, there’s just something really adorable about an oblivious guy who has no idea there are so many suitors seeking his heart. One day he’s going to realize...right?
