When it comes to reading a good romance, there’s nothing like having your feels crushed, stepped on, thrown out the window, and completely run over. It hurts so good. And really good BLs will do that every time. It’s time to take a look at two BL titles that will definitely do just that as they take you on a journey of angst, hurt, drama, and plenty of miscommunication that will have you asking ‘why??’ and begging for the next chapter the moment that cliffhanger hits! 

Unreachable

Everyone has had a long-time crush, a person they’ve pined for and were willing to do anything for. But at the same time, everyone has reached a breaking point in a relationship. And that is what Unreachable is all about! That, and a whole bunch of angst and drama of course. 

So what is there to support about Jimmy and Myles? After all good for Myles, finally standing up for himself and moving on! Right? But now that Jimmy realizes what he’s lost, maybe he does deserve a chance. Plus, Jimmy is so handsome and he seems to really regret his actions. Sometimes it takes losing something to realize how badly you need it! And with everything that Myles has gone through in his life, he could really use someone who appreciates him. But is that person Jimmy? Or is it someone else… Maybe Stefan? Or even Ron?? There’s still so many questions that need answers and thankfully, there’s plenty of chapters to come! 

Fragile Relationship

Who doesn’t enjoy a good friends with benefits story? Especially when there’s clearly emotional attachment involved but both parties are way too afraid to say anything which causes miscommunication and drama?? *sigh* It’s truly the best! And Fragile Relationships has all of that and more! 

Lin Xiangyao has it all: money, looks, a great life, and pretty much everyone fawns over him. Then there’s Ye Shen, a shy and quiet young man who works hard to achieve his goals. Obviously, in the world of BL, they’re perfect for each other. So of course, when they hook up it’s all fireworks. But here’s the twist—they’re not in a relationship. In fact, they don’t even kiss! It’s purely physical. Which, ok, that’s something to work with. Except, there’s clearly feelings involved—no matter how much Xiangyao denies it or rather doesn’t see it. The guy is really, really dense when it comes to recognizing his feelings. Ye Shen tries his hardest to move on, to break things off in this friends with benefits relationship, but even he can’t help loving the emotionally blind fool. To add on to their troubles, there’s Xiangyao’s old flame that Ye Shen is convinced he’ll never stop loving! And what does Xiangyao do to reassure Ye Shen? Well...nothing! Instead, he claims Ye Shen is merely his friend but then gets insanely jealous when the other man shows interest in someone else. Mixed signals everywhere! Love is complicated but does it really need to be this complicated?! Will they finally communicate and let their hearts connect or are these two doomed to hurt each other over and over again?
