Black Lives Matter

Dear Tapas community,We stand with our Black creators, our Black readers, and the entire Black community. As a storytelling platform, we strive to amplify voices that aren’t always heard in the mainstream media. It is our mission to provide a safe space for our entire inclusive community.
Over the last couple of weeks, we have been talking to creators and readers about how to support the Black community on Tapas, and we are developing an action plan to bring lasting change to Tapas as a whole. Tapas should always be a safe place to share stories and experiences, and we recognize that it can be hard to identify the many talented creators of color on our platform. We understand the need for change isn’t short term, and we’re taking time to talk with the people of color in our community to ensure that our next steps are supportive, wanted, and impactful.
In the meantime, please check out the "Voices of Color" collection, located on our app and web homepage, that our team has carefully curated with the help from the Tapas community. More creators of color will be featured in the near future as well as continuously over time. Tapas is fully committed to actively finding, promoting, and celebrating more stories created by Black comic and novel creators.
As we continue to learn and do better, we encourage you to do the same. Below are some resources to help you learn more about the Black Lives Matter movement and ways we can all continue to support.
