Patrick Barry was born in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. He began writing in 2018, was a winner of the Gunard B. Carlson Memorial Foundation Creative Writing Contest before graduating from Immaculata University, and received an honorable mention from Writers of the Future. Patrick’s work explores the realistic hardships that would come with living in fantasy settings, but despite being a jerk to his characters, they always maintain hope and move forward in the end through sacrifice and human virtue rather than magical McGuffins.
