The Ultimate Gamer’s Nightmare—School
Inside a dimly lit game room, Haruto Kisaragi, a 16-year-old anime-obsessed slacker, furiously mashes buttons on his controller. His room resembles a chaotic battlefield, littered with instant ramen cups and strewn with battered anime posters curling at the corners. Gaming consoles fight for space on his desk, a glowing testament to his unyielding devotion. Just as he executes a final, heart-pounding combo in Dragon Ball FighterZ, a thunderous voice erupts from downstairs, sending a chill through him.
“HARUTO! GET YOUR LAZY BUTT TO SCHOOL!”
A low groan escapes his lips. His mother—the ultimate final boss—has arrived. With reflexes honed from countless games, he rolls off his chair, retreating under the safety of his tattered blanket. But the S-rank opponent known as 'Mom' yanks it away with terrifying ease.
“Why must I suffer this fate?! Why was I not isekai’d at birth?!” Haruto wails dramatically, slumping back as if the weight of the universe is now pressing against him.
She doesn’t even flinch. “You think I’ll let you waste your life away in here? Get moving!” With a firm hand, she drags him out, her voice echoing the world's worst punishment—education—awaiting.

The Art of Failing with Anime Logic
In class, the fluorescent lights buzz over Haruto’s desk, illuminating a crumpled test paper that seems to mock him. His gaze drifts blankly across the rows of questions, landing on the one that reads: “What is the chemical formula for water?”
With absolute confidence and zero understanding, he scrawls: “H2Rasengan.”
His heart races, vision blurring as he shifts to the next question about Newton's first law. He puts pen to paper, writing earnestly, “A body in motion stays in motion unless stopped by a villain with OP plot armor.”
The teacher, exuding an aura of disappointment, sighs and shakes her head. Yet, the laughter of his anime-loving classmates brings a flicker of warmth to his otherwise dreary existence. Despite his failing grades, Haruto drifts into a world of fantasy, imagining battles against demons instead of solving equations.

The Only Light in School—Student Council President
After class, Haruto sulks in the schoolyard, drowning in a sea of angst and boredom. A gentle voice pierces through his gloom.
“Still struggling, Haruto?”
It’s Ami Sakuragi, the school’s student council president—a girl whose grace and brilliance shine like a sunbeam in his otherwise dark universe. Unlike others, she never mocks him, a beacon of kindness.
“I don’t understand why I need school,” he laments, exhaling dramatically. "In anime, guys just train in mountains and suddenly become overpowered.”
Her laughter twinkles in the air. “Well, if the world ever needs a hero, I hope you’ll step up one day.”
Haruto scoffs, shrugging it off. “Pfft. As if that’s ever gonna happen.” Yet he can’t help but picture himself as a hero, battling extraordinary foes alongside her.
Fate, however, lurks just around the corner, chuckling at the irony.

The Day Reality Turned Into an Anime
Saturday. 10:47 AM.
Saturday morning dawns dimly as Haruto, begrudgingly ordered to run errands, shuffles toward the convenience store. He squints at the bright sun, picking up bottled drinks with heavy eyes, when suddenly—BOOM! The world shifts. Daylight gives way to an inky night sky.
A massive, swirling portal tears open above him, drawing gasps of bewilderment from the crowd. Multi-colored roses drift from the rift like ethereal confetti, landing softly on heads, emanating a strange energy.
A man nearby gasps, panic spreading across his face as shimmering, poisonous butterflies emerge from his fingertips, glistening with rose symbols. The crowd erupts in chaos, scrambling for safety.
Haruto, however, remains unimpressed. “Pfft, early morning magic tricks? Lame,” he mutters, turning away. But a golden rainbow rose floats softly behind him, settling unseen on the back of his head like a forgotten treasure.

A Mother’s Transformation into Fire
As he trudges home, Haruto pauses, his heart dropping at the sight of his mother entranced, gazing at the sky with a rose lying across her chest. And then—FWOOOSH! Flames erupt around her, igniting her form, the symbol of a flame rose blazing against her skin.
“MOM!” Haruto cries, rushing forward, desperate to save her even as the impossible happens. A demonic creature crashes down behind her, its jagged teeth gleaming in the firelight. The world now feels surreal as she stands, consumed by flames, a mere echo of his mother.
The monster slashes through her, sending her body crumbling to the ground without burning. “N-no…!” Haruto's world shatters in that heart-stopping moment, every primal instinct screaming for action.
The demon’s glowing red eyes lock onto him, a hunger evident that sends frozen terror coursing through his veins, paralyzing him.
-----
A Speeding Rescue
Just as the demon lunges forward, ready to make him the next victim—CRASH! A car skids into the scene, colliding with the creature and spraying shards of metal and glass.
“Get in!” two teenagers—a brother and sister duo, Rin and Kai Takahashi—yank Haruto from the clutches of destiny, tossing him into the vehicle. Tires screech as they burn rubber, fleeing through the wreckage of a city in chaos.
"Those Monster Killed Our Parent Too'' Rin muttered.
“What the hell is happening?!” Haruto stammers, disoriented.
“The world’s ending! Try to keep up!” Kai yells, eyes darting wildly as he navigates the ruined streets.
Before Haruto can decipher the gravity of their situation, a colossal monster tumbles into their path, blocking their escape.

The Car Crash & The Lightning Girl
The behemoth slams its fist down on the car, sending it spiraling into a nearby building. Metal twists and glass shatters, pain ripping through Haruto’s body as he struggles to move. Despite her visible injuries, Rin, with an unshakeable resolve, stands, lightning crackling ominously around her like a harbinger of her newfound strength.
The demon charges at her, its claws poised to strike. In an awe-inspiring display, she thrusts her hands forward, harnessing energy portrayed by a shimmering lightning rose symbol. A barrier of pure electricity surges into form, absorbing the impact and sending the creature stumbling back with a screech of pain.
Haruto’s eyes widen as a rush of adrenaline ignites within him. “You-You're!”
"I... I did that?," Rin pants, astonished at her own abilities. "I can control lightning!"
At that moment, Haruto feels a burning heat igniting within his chest, an unexplainable energy that thrums to life.

Haruto’s Anime Knowledge Awakens
Clutching his chest, Haruto's mind floods with names of powers and techniques from his beloved anime; they swirl around like a storm of forgotten spells now itching to be cast.
“Wait…” Kai, gripping the steering wheel tightly as the adrenaline pumps through him, gives Haruto an incredulous look. “Did you get hit by a rainbow rose?”
“Uh… Maybe?” Haruto blinks, mind racing, both astonished and bewildered.
“That’s not just any power-up! Only myths speak of those! They’re supposed to elevate someone to unimaginable potential!” Kai’s eyes widen with excitement and fear intermingled.
Haruto’s head pounds, memories flooding back—it’s all there: the Rasengan, Goku’s Kamehameha, and so many others. They come alive in his mind’s eye, infusing him with newfound determination. He grins, excitement bubbling to the surface.

First Battle—Demon Horde vs. Haruto’s 70%
As a horde of demons appears, the siblings stumble, exhausted. Kai brandishes a broken metal pipe, his hands trembling, while Rin leans heavily against the door. Haruto, however, steps boldly forward, feeling a strange confidence swell within him.
“Alright, let’s see how much of my anime knowledge I can actually use!” he declares, cracking his knuckles.
The demons charge. Haruto closes his eyes, feeling the power coursing through his veins. For the first time, he understands what being a hero feels like.
White light swirled in his palm.
“Rasen!” he shouts, his hand glowing with energy. A spiraling sphere materializes in his palm as he dashes forward, striking a demon square in the chest, sending it reeling back.
Another monster lunges, fangs bared. Haruto cups his hands, channeling his energy. “Kameha HA!” A blinding mix of dark blue beam vaporized its torso erupts forth, disintegrating the demon in a bright flash.
The Takahashi siblings stare, slack-jawed. “What the actual…?!”
“Oh, this is gonna be FUN!” Haruto exclaims, exhilaration coursing through him.
In an extravagant whirlwind of action, he leaps into the air, dodging low-level attacks effortlessly, countering with moves that echo Bankai-level slashes and shadow extraction blades slicing shadows from his fingertips. He moved like liquid instinct—dodging, striking, laughing. In this moment, he blurs the lines between fantasy and reality, unleashing a storm of power he had only dreamt of in his video games.
Yet, unbeknownst to him, each maneuver siphons away his strength, a slow drain that whispers warnings he cannot yet hear.
A massive, red-eyed A-rank demon lands before him, growling ominously. “Interesting… You have potential, boy. But can you handle THIS?!”
The creature roars, a concentrated energy blast forming at its core, charging as Haruto wipes blood from his lips—a reminder of reality amidst the chaos.
“Oh shit, it’s about to get real!” he thinks, as his gaze falls to the blood pooling beneath him.
“This is my blood! I don’t wanna die, Mom!!!”
