Late but, if anyone needs the direct translation for the series [Apotheosis in Nine Acts: How I End Up Saving the World 登霞九法 · 前列仙] (as compared to the official translation/localization):
登霞九法 · 前列仙 (Pinyin: Deng Xia Jiu Fa • Qian Lie Xian), the OG Chinese title provided by Tapas, would be translated to something like “(The) Nine Methods of Ascending to the Clouds • Forefront Immortals.”
If we break it down:
Deng 登 = To ascend / To climb / To mount / To pedal / To step on (Verb)
- But here just means to “ascend” or “climb” since it is paired with Xia 霞
Xia 霞 = Scientifically, it is the clouds & dust particles that reflects sunlight during either sunrise or sunset. It is the “Afterglow” or “Foreglow” of sunlight/light. (Noun)
- If paired with 朝 (zhao) to become 朝霞 (zhao xia), it becomes the “Foreglow” (meteorology) or “Morning Glow” during sunrise or the “Morning Lights” or the light of “Daybreak” or “Dawn” of sorts.
