Late but, if anyone needs the direct translation for the series [The Star of Ashes 此星] (as compared to the official translation/localization):
此星 (Ci Xing), the OG Chinese title provided by Tapas, would be translated to something like “This/These Star(s)” or just “This Star” (Most Chinese characters can be both plural or singular)
Ci 此 = This / These
- But ci 此 is more often used as singular when describing another so the title should probably be “This Star”
Xing 星 = Star / Stars
