Everyone knows that the end of college semester is capable of breaking anyone's psychological.
Enzo looked at the sheets of sketches spread across his desk, there were sheets on top of a book, inside a book, even on the floor, stickers with reminders stuck to the wall, and the physics books piled up on the table.
Feeling suffocated in his small kitchenette, Enzo felt that his brain was no longer able to process any more formulas.
He let out a heavy sigh.
"I'm so swamped, I think it's time to change the perspective a bit."
In his recent sessions with the campus psychologist, Enzo came to understand that when he was feeling overwhelmed, he needed to reset his brain, and for that he performed a little ritual.
First step was to change the background music. All morning he'd been listening to the song "Supernova" by the band Malta over and over, and now he'd put on the song "Autopilot" by Supercombo.
As the music flowed, he began to remove the loose sheets that were thrown on the table and organize his environment, this was step 2, organizing his small table gave the same feeling of organizing his own brain.
Finishing the organization, underneath all that mess, he finally found what he was looking for: his idea notebook.
“Then that's it! Let's start writing.”
to be continued ...
