This story takes place primarily in an alternate universe re-telling of Steven Universe: Future, while also encompassing the time between the end of Season 5 of the original series and the movie, all the way into the beginnings of Steven's adulthood. This series is meant to explore the aftermath of arguably the biggest unresolved plot-point of the original series - the Cluster - as well as unraveling some other issues along the way. This story will explore relationships between existing characters, as well as introduce original, non-canon characters based off of canon aspects from the original series. This story will take place over the course of multiple seasons including a prequel season taking place between the end of "Change Your Mind" and Steven Universe: The Movie, the movie itself, and the entire duration of Steven Universe: Future and beyond. Steven Universe means the world to me, and I've grown up with these characters who've inspired me and helped me to better understand myself and my own relationships, and I can only hope this series can be a fraction of that for someone else. So, I hope you can enjoy this journey of growth and reflection with me, and you'll dive in with me to a cluster of new and old problems for Steven and the Crystal Gems to solve one last time.
