The two men stood side by side while suspended in the air away from the rest of the world. The one who was giving the order was Sakj, he was 50 ranks higher than Alerik. They both appeared youthful and would have passed for someone in their low 20s.

Sakj and Alerik both wore black robes and dark knee high boots, their slender bodies gave off an air of fragility but the two supernaturals were anything but weak. They both held the power to take life, restoring it was a different matter altogether. Sakj gazed at the bright moon in the sky while Alerik looked with disinterest at the object that had caught his senior's attention, the two deities' long black hair was held in a gold hair clasp. Below them was a skeletal number of vehicles passing on the road that was illuminated by tall bright street lamps.

"Lu Mann, I have his name pulled up. He only needs to show up and everything will be over."

Alerik spoke with assurance to his senior, the two were of indescribable beauty. 

"Be careful Alerik, overconfidence is not allowed as a Death God!"

Sakj sharply rebuked his junior Death God, his cold face held no trace of warmth as he looked down his nose at Alerik.

"Are you going to stay until the human comes?"

Alerik revealed none of his emotions as he spoke to the other deity but Sakj didn't respond as he suddenly vanished into thin air.

"You should have said you are not staying!"

Younger by a thousand years Alerik's nature was that of a rambunctious youth unlike the more mature Sakj.
