Oh so many eons ago, when realms were still alive and thriving, a small but happy little griffin was born in the realm of Todaltan. Her mother was the group leader and because of that, she made the small griffin act like the lady she was. One day during one of her teachings, a guard burst into the royal cave system. “Ms Tamodani! We have a major issue with the dragons!” yelled the guard as they ran into the palace cave. “What now?” Tamodani replied glaring at the guard. Just then Tamodani realized her daughter was gone from behind her. The little gryffin had ran away into the Todaltan forest. She sighed. “Yikes...once again we are likely to be going to war with those dragons.” She began to hear the growling of an enemy dragon nearby. The small gryffin peaked around the corner of a tree. She saw a young dragon fighting his father in a duel. His father was then attacked and dragged away by a large griffin that had entered the duel without warning. “Dad!” the young dragon ran toward where he took them before running away out of fear, bumping into Tandi. “Ow!” she screamed as they then both tumbled down a hill into an open field. “Whoa are you okay?!” the young dragon asked, a bit frantic. “I’m just fine!” she yelled as she folded her paws in disgust. The dragon looked at her and sighed. “I’m Tensi.” he said politely. “I’m Tandi.” she replied quietly. “Tanshi?” He questioned for he didn’t hear her due to having poor health. Tandi then paused for a moment. Maybe she could change her name to lie and escape farther away from the caves. “Yep! You got it!” she said as she rose from the ground onto her paws. Her dark feathers seemed to camoflauge her perfectly in the forest. After all she was a dark blue griffin and had a long tail. She was supposed to blend in, mostly because her tail was meant to interpret a small sapling of the trees that surrounded her that looked like her long tail. “Hey um...why are you out here?” Tensi asked as he cocked his head to the side. “I’m running away from my mom. She is going to start the whole war with you guys! And only because you dragons entered our territory again!” she responded in a fit of rage toward him. “Whoa whoa, tone it down Tanshi. I’m running away too. It’s too dangerous nowadays...” suddenly she looked at him. Tanshi had to pause on the statement. “What about if we ran away together?” Tanshi said, smiling. After Tensi agreed soon after, that same night, they both ran away. Flying side by side, they talked and laughed as time passed so quickly. Days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months. “When are we ever going to find a home?” Tanshi groaned as she layed in the green grass of a large field they decided to rest on. Tensi coughed hoarsely and looked at her. He sighed. “Dunno, my sickness is getting worse and I can't fly till i’m better.” he replied sadly. But one morning was the worst for Tanshi when she found a dragon’s body laying in the grass, leaving Tanshi presumably on her own. Then she decided to rest in a quiet cave near a village that she thought was abandoned. Suddenly she woke up to large chains around her neck and four paws. She panicked as she thrashed around in an attempt to escape the chains. The villagers were yelling and holding up torches to her, scaring her even more. After they left, Tanshi began to cry. “Why can't I just be happy for once?!” she yelled. After that she slowly fell asleep in the cold and dark cave, still whimpering in fear.
300 years later... ````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
Tanshi lifted up a fish skeleton and sighed. “So hungry…” the village was now an even larger city. Tanshi stood up reaching up to 12 feet tall on just her four paws alone. She strained against the chains that held her. “Ugh” she flopped down onto her stomach and laid her head onto her paws. She then heard a loud thud against the floor of the cave. Tanshi crept over to it carefully. “It seems to be one of the humans...about 17, no sign of injury. That’s good I suppose.” Tanshi thought to herself as she scanned the boy. He grunted and stood up. He looked at her and almost wet himself. “What-” He was cut off by Tanshi roaring in anger. “Who are you to be stumbling into MY cave you worm!” The man began to hide in the corner. “I’m just here because of my stupid friends!” he yelled in terror as Tanshi loomed above him. Tanshi realized she was scaring him. “What is your name?” she asked to lighten his fear a little. “My name is Geo” He replied calmly. “You should know who i am then, Geo.” She said with a hint of anger in her tone. “Yea...you’re Tanshi.” He replied not noticing the anger in her tone. She glared at him and huffed. “Yeah, you’re right” she replied as she laid down on the hard floor of the moss covered cave. Geo looked at the large creature that was right in front of him. He started to remember the stories others had told him about the griffin. “How did you know who i was?” Tanshi asked suddenly lifting her head from her paws. Geo had to pause for a moment. “Would she be mad?” he asked himself in his head. “I was told legends about you from my some of my friends.” he replied with a slight shaking in his voice. “What legends?” She asked.
