Modern Day – University Setting [Theo & Liam]

For three years, Theo sits beside his best friend, Liam.

“Liam, have you finished the activity?” Theo asked while he’s cluttering his bag looking for something.

“Yes, already done. And, I’m guessing that you forgot yours again, right?” he smiled, he him handed a notebook. Theo smiled. “Thanks, you’re the best”  

“yeah right”

“Let’s go home together, wanna play games at home?” Theo said, he placed his arms around Liam’s shoulders. “You really always want  to be with me huh?” Liam laughed.

“Of course you’re my best friend, right?” Theo replied and ruffled Liam’s hair.

He laughed “yeah that’s right” then he smiled faintly.

Every day he plans to confess.

“Theo” he wanted to say it out loud. Theo heard his faint voice, he looked at him but Liam just smiled “nothing”

Every day he doesn't. 

In his mind he wanted to…“I wanted to tell you how I feel, but…I’m scared, so I’ll let it be like that until the fear fades away”

Then the time comes. On graduation day, Liam plans on telling Theo about his true feelings, that he doesn’t only treat him as a friend, but also someone he truly loves. But later on, Theo introduces  his girlfriend with a smile on his face.

At the end, Liam is holding a confession letter he'll never give to Theo.

Liam missed the chance because of his Fear.
