Later on in his life, he went out to climb mt.frosant and discovered that arctic dragons were not extinct, but they could be found plentifully in both asia and both of the polls.

The arctic dragon is a dragon slightly resembling a very fluffy wyrm with short legs. They have prehensile tails with small spikes on the end, however these are covered up by all their fur. They have short whiskers and a very keen sence of smell. Their eyes are not the best, they can see only up until 10 metres ahead of them and they only have a slight amount of perifheral vision. They mostly feed on mountain goats and other mammals that happen to wander into their territory. Arctic dragons closely resemble the storm dragons and are usually 8-15 metres long from tip-of-tail to the end of the snout.

shortly after documenting his findings in a journal, he went to consult the ministry of magic and it was soon confirmed that his discovery was true. A couple of weeks later, he was awarded with the title 'the brave', since people rarely dared to venture into dragon territory, especially one  with such tendencies as the arctic dragon had. (eating humans was a regular doing before they were hunted anmost to extinction.)
