Preface

Before one reads this book, I'd like them to take a moment and thank themselves. If you're reading this, that means you're supporting my dream, and therefore me. Thank you so many times.

I also want to say thank you to everyone I've ever interacted with. Thank you to my family, my friends, my acquaintances, my pets, the bugs I've seen, the trees I've touched, those who hate me, those who I no longer speak to, etc. I really wouldn't be where I am today without any of you. You've been the best teachers a student can ask for.

Getting into specifics about the book, this was written over a course of some months. The book contains some short stories/poems that came to me after either living the story, seeing it happen, hearing about it, etc, and exaggerating these moments to create tales one could find interesting. Many details are changed in these stories, but not all stories are based on the above. Many of the stories simply came to me and I wanted to write them.

In general this piece is entirely fiction but created to make one think. Each story contains a lesson, but each story simultaneously doesn't. This entire project was something that I didn't force and it evolved by itself beautifully. Whatever the reader takes away from the pieces is entirely up to them. Basically just read, and don't expect anything going into it. Just read and take away what you want.

Disclaimer:

In no way is this piece meant to preach any belief, ideal, or feeling I may have. It's simply a thought experiment for the reader if you will. I don't necessarily share the same beliefs as the characters either. In order to best appreciate this, imagine each story was written by a different person.

Each story is pretty much unedited in terms of technicalities of grammar. There also are light usages of curse words, and some adult themes. So, if one is easily offended by such language, or if the reader is looking for immaculate syntax, I ask you to put down this book and read no further.

Now, without further ado, please sit back, relax, and enjoy some stories…

This is just the preface! I just wanted to add this to give some information to the reader that I deem necessary. Thank you for reading!

This book is a collection of short stories and poems that mostly pertain to aspects of human life. Things such as technology, emotions, or notions society holds are questioned in interesting, yet ambiguous ways. Each story's meaning is entirely up to the individual reader.

There are 19 total short stories to enjoy and dissect. Each story is no more than a few pages, and were all written that way intentionally for bite sized reading. (There may be a lot of pages in the entirety of this piece, but can easily be put down after each story.)
