I sat at the long dining table trying to get this stupid work done one of the maids stood across from me doing some dusting the only sound in the room her little steps moving from picture to Picture dusting the golden frames with her little black feather duster occasionally clipping the paint off revealing the white base below, I heard the door and saw my mother begin to all across the hall so I got up rushing out to her just as she flipped through the post

"mum!" I said quickly to interrupt her thoughts

"No Thomas," she says

"I haven't even asked anything yet" I complain

"I know what your going to say thomas" she sighs

"Ohh what am I going to say then?" I asked crossing my arms

"That you don't want to go, you have no reason to go and your going to throw a temper tantrum if I try to make you" she explains "your not a baby Thomas your very predictable these days," she says "you're going Thomas, end of a discussion," she says

"No not the end of Fucking discussion!" I complain as she began to walk up the stairs but I followed her

"THOMAS!" he yells "Language!" she warns

"I'm sick of it every other month I'm off god knows where to try and gussy up to some Pretty little lady, I have had enough I'm not going!" I yell

"Thomas!" she yells "you will go until you come back with a wife that's it, No getting out of it, No arguing you are going!" she orders

"I'll lock myself in my room," I tell her as she began to walk away

"I have a key Thomas" she sighs

"I'll run away!" I warn

"You'll come back" she shrugs

"I'll act like an arsehole the whole time!" I yell

"THOMAS!" she yells "Language!" she yells "You are going, and you are coming back with a wife and if you don't I will keep sending you out until you do," she says "Now go pack before I make the maid do it for you," she says going up to her room
