Welcome to Addicted To You:
Meltem's Pov
My name is Meltem Willow, and I am 17 years old. Caden, my 18-year-old older brother, is my only sibling. Both of our parents died while we were young, and we were forced to live with our uncle for a time until we had to live on our own because our so-called caring aunty no longer wanted to look after us. So it's just Caden and me now, living alone. Caden has a best friend who is also 18 years old.
Do you want to know a little secret?
Don't tell anyone; this is completely private.
I have a small crush on Arderas. Well, OK, you got me. I have a massive crush on him, and it's not a minor one.
I mean, I know he's my brother's best buddy, but who cares?
I adore him, and I believe he adores me as well.
"Meltem?" When my brother Caden yelled from downstairs, I dashed down the stairs in my school clothes. I'd only been home for an hour and hadn't bothered to change my clothing.
"I'm on my way!" I called back, sprinting over to him, who was standing near the door. Caden puts on his jacket and prepares to head out.
"I'd like you to lock up behind us when Arderas arrives and we depart. I don't want anyone coming here, and if someone knocks-"
"Yes, Caden, I understand." "Do not answer the door if a stranger knocks."
"Good." He said. I grinned broadly and pushed my glasses higher in my face. I was hoping to tag along with them because I had never been to a party before.
" Caden, I was wondering if I could."
" No," I clutched my hands and fidgeted anxiously with my fingers. I bit my lower lip and sighed deeply. When the front door opened, I looked up and saw him. At his sight, my blue eyes twinkle and gleam. The man of my dreams, my crush.
Arderas.
Arderas steps in, "Hey man." When I saw him in his normal black leather jacket and white shirt, my heart began to accelerate. He slammed the door behind him carefully and smiled at my brother, revealing his pearly white teeth. They hugged and patted each other on the backs. Arderas looks over at me and goes closer, his smile fading somewhat as he nods his head. "Hey Meltem,"
" H-Hey" I murmured nervously, pulling up my glasses and tucking my hair behind my ear. My cheeks began to flush as I looked down.
Oh, my goodness.
He's ridiculously cute.
When I returned my gaze to him, he was still staring at me, smirking and scratching his jaw. They both turn their bodies to the front entrance after my brother touches him on the shoulder.
"Won't Meltem be joining us?"
"What is she going to do at a party full of 18-year-olds, bro?" Caden remarked.
I furrowed my brows and clutched my fingers, praying he'd let me join them. "I'm not going to annoy anyone, and I'm not going to drink. Is it possible for me to come?"
" See, she's not going to be a problem." I approached Arderas and took a position next to him. I'm looking at my brother with a pout on my lips and my fists clasped together.
Caden looks at me, sighs deeply, and shakes his head no.
"No, I don't want to stay up all night babysitting my sister, and what the hell is wrong with you, Arderas?"
"Come on, dude," he urged as he walked out the door.
My heart began to sink, and I lowered my hands and smiled. Arderas ruffles my brunette hair as I gently peek across towards him.
"Be safe, little one," he said as he walked away, and I joined him, holding the door open. Seeing them get into the car and drive away.

A few hours later.
I was in my room, staring at myself in my vanity mirror. I was up till 1 a.m., watching makeup tutorials. Using a brush, I applied makeup to my eyelids. After noticing the blue eye shadow on my lids, I smiled at myself and danced joyously in my seat. I then proceed to apply red lipstick when my phone begins to ring. I looked at the screen and saw Caden was calling me.
" Hello, Caden?"
"Oh, Meltem, it's me, I'm sorry." After hearing Ardera's words, I expanded my eyes and stared straight into my reflection. My heart is thumping furiously. I leapt to my feet, tossing my makeup brushes and chair aside.
"Are you all right?"
"No, I'm alright"
"I heard noises?."
"I just dropped my chair..."
"Okay, then. I'm simply letting you know that I'm almost there. Because your brother is inebriated, could you please open the door for me so that I can assist him?"
"All right!" I increased my voice before hanging up the phone and sprinting out of my room to downstairs. I panted heavily as I opened the door wide and glanced out the window to see his vehicle approaching. I grinned and wanted to dance about in joy. Arderas exits his vehicle and assists Caden, noticing a girl exiting the vehicle as well. I grimace and stare at her with my brows furrowed. Her hair was golden and she wore a short dress. She approaches me drunkenly and looks me in the eyes before laughing at me. My cheeks began to flush.
What made her laugh at me?
" You chubby thing, awe" Squeezing my big cheeks, she said. My heart fell when she mentioned my body fat. I looked over and saw Arderas heading over to assist Caden.
" I'm sorry, but you must remain downstairs."
" Whatever," she answered as she walked over to the living room. I raced up the stairs and into Caden's room, where I found Arderas laying my brother down on the bed. Arderas sighs deeply and exits the room. I shut the door and turned around, widening my eyes, not realizing he was standing right next to me. I felt my throat constrict, gulped softly, and locked my gaze on his hazel-brown eyes. He leans forwards, locking me with his hand on the door behind me. His gaze is drawn to my face and he examines my makeup before smirking.
"Cute," he says softly, his hazel brown eyes meeting mine. He keeps smirking and leans in closer.
"Ardaras?" "Stop fooling with the kid and come over to my house. I'll be waiting for you in your car." He groans severely behind me, rolling his eyes at the blonde female before nodding.
"All right, I'll be there," he murmured irritably as the girl walked away, and I saw him return his focus to me and smile faintly.
"Goodnight, little one," he said before kissing my cheek.
I raised my brows and my eyes glittered; I hadn't expected that from him.
Oh my God, he kissed me.
