Montero was an Amazon.
He turned on humanity.
The man stepped foward and looks at Amazon: Jigray
“Release the packs.” He said to him
This order would be the first step to eradicating humanity.
From the ruptured skyline, monsters poured out, bodies wrong and mouths too wide, hitting the streets in waves. Screams followed seconds later. Buildings fell. Fire climbed upward, Exploions, and blood immediately followed
And then—
Something hit back.
A figure tore through the swarm, landing hard enough to crater the street. The shockwave split asphalt and sent monsters flying.
“Move,” the Amazon said as he swatted a mutated snake to the side. His voice carried no fear. Just intent.
“For the love of God... Montero what are you thinking..”
He looked around at all the chaos and violence inflicted by mutants and other creatures His power flared.
“Amazon: Gila.”
“Open. Let's hunt!”
The air sharpened.
He vanished, reappearing inside the horde. A monster lunged. He caught it by the jaw and ripped downward.
Purple blood sprayed on the front of his body as the creature screamed in agony as it shot out human bones at him as an attack before dying to its injury.
“Disgusting, I-I'm gonna puke.”
Another charged.
His head whipped to the side catching a glimpse of it charging
“Hunter Frenzy.”
He leaned forward, pupils narrowing, breath steadying as the world slowed into prey and distance. He weaved, crushed a skull with his elbow, then drove his heel through a spine.
For the first time, Montero frowned seeing him trying to stop his plan.
Monster decended from the sky in a crash, landing crouched before standing up hands behind his back
“So you chose to stand.”
The Amazon looked at him with disgust, "MONTERO!" He yelled out in anger
He slammed both palms into the ground.
“Territory Break.”
The street collapsed outward. Monsters were blown back, streets lamps and close things crushed, he then dug into the ground. Tunnels towards Montero before bursting through the ground in a violent uppercut For a moment, the battlefield went quiet.
{WOOSH}
Nothing connected...
Montero dodged it then smiles
“Is that all you have boy?”
The Amazon immediately followed up with a barrage of punches into three flying kicks.
All dodged... Montero then grabs his leg then pulls him close mid air then delivers a powerful palm strike to his stomach then tosses him
The Amazon slides across the ground rolling and tumbling before standing up slowly clutching his stomach
“Tch.. Is that all you Got!?”
Montero smirked, “I'm glad you asked darling ~”
He snaps his fingers
Then the air tore open.
Seven presences descended at once.
“Target confirmed,” one said.
“HAAHAH Looks like master tossed him around a bit,” another added. “Take him.”
The Amazon’s eyes widened.
“…Seven?”
He smiled anyway.
“What a sissy move...”
He rushed them.
“HUNT: Rush Fang!”
He collided with the first Amazon mid-air, biting into their shoulder, tearing flesh free before being slammed into the ground by a hammer of force.
Bones cracked.
He rolled, coughing blood, and came up swinging.
“Gila Claw!”
Two fell back, bleeding, but the third caught him by the throat.
“You really thought you’d win?”
The Amazon spat blood in his face.
“I thought I’d hurt you.”
He detonated power point-blank.
The explosion erased one attacker completely.
The rest didn’t stop their attack.
He rose again, shaking, bleeding, laughing through broken teeth.
“Not… done.”
They made sure he was.
Fists. Blades. Rocks. Over and over.
One monster looked up, “Who the hell is throwing ROCKS IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS BEATING!.. DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN STONE A AMAZON TO DEATH!!!”
Even then they still hadn't stopped to figure that out they had one intent, one desire...
To break him.
He was pinned to the ground, limbs restrained. Someone kicked his head until the world blurred into light and noise.
“Keep him awake,” one said.
Metal touched his skull.
“No— wait—!”
They cut.
Pressure. Burning. Something scraping inside his head.
His scream fractured, turned wet, then empty.
Thoughts slipped. Words unraveled. Faces burned away.
Only pain remained.
When he could no longer scream, they stopped.
Restraints snapped shut around his limbs. Something pierced his spine. His vision fractured.
“Enough,” Montero said, stepping forward at last. “Strip him.”
Cold metal. Bright lights.
He screamed.
“No—WAIT—!”
“Amazon Extraction has begun.”
Something was pulled out of him. Not flesh. Not bone.
Words vanished first.
Then faces.
Then the meaning of his own name.
“Stop— I— I can’t—!”
His scream broke into a sound that didn’t resemble language.
Silence followed.
The world was told he died.
Humanity carved his name into stone and built statues 5 years later.
Montero kept moving.
Somewhere far away, a body slammed into the dirt.
The man gasped, choking, fingers clawing at the ground. He rolled onto his back, staring up at the sky like it knew him.
“…Huh?”
His head hurt. His mouth tasted like blood.
He sat up slowly.
Hands. Legs. Human.
A shadow fell over him.
“You alive?” a voice asked.
He opened his mouth.
“…uh.”
Nothing else came.
He frowned, scratched his head, then pointed at himself.
“…Me?”
The voice sighed. “Great. Another one.”
The man smiled, dumb and confused, not understanding the ruins around him or the blood crusted on his skin.
Somewhere deep inside him, something growled.
The Amazon was gone.
But it wasn’t finished
