"What's happening here," Asahi asked. He opened his eyelids and found out that he is in a rift in space-time. "How the hell did I get here," he asked. He then rose and saw people running in his direction as he could see a fire spreading throughout the town.

Asahi decided to also run, not knowing what was going on. As he was running, he stumbled and fell to the ground. The flame got closer to him as it was beginning to swallow him.

Argh

"It's 7:03 in the morning," he said. Soon, someone opened the door and a girl jumped on his tummy. Asahi then got up from his bed as he held his tummy in pain. "Hey, what the hell is wrong with you, don't you know that I'll get tummy pains," he said. "Now Asahi, you are being rude to your sister," her sister said.

Well, Asahi left the room and went to the kitchen to grab some milk and flakes. Asahi then sat at the table alongside his sister. "Oh come on, you still mad," she said. "Well, if I had tummy problems now, I'm not sure you would still be saying what you are saying right now," he said as he poured the milk and the flakes into a bowl and began to eat.

He and his sister began to converse as they were eating. Asahi then turned to look at the time and it was almost 7:30. Asahi hurriedly ate all his food and rushed out as he went to change into his uniform and dashed out of the room. "Hey, wait for me," his sister said.

My name is Asahi Sugahara. I'm 17 and I'm just a normal student like everyone else. The girl next to me is my sister Aika Sugahara. We all attend the same school but in different classes. She's talkative I suppose. Well, some of her friends like it that way.

As they were walking, a blurry image appeared before Asahi as he could a dark figure in a good walking toward him. "Don't be afraid Asahi Sugahara, I'm already within you," the figure said. Asahi then turned to look at who was talking to him but saw no one. "Aika, did you see someone," Aashi asked.

"Huh, what are you talking about," Aika replied. "I thought I just saw...," Asahi said. "I'm already within you," Asahi thought of it. Maybe it's just a joke he said as he continued walking to school.

In class, as the teacher was teaching the students Standard Literature on William Shakespeare's Poem, Asahi was still thinking of what the figure said. "It's surprising Aika didn't hear anyone's voice," Asahi said. After class was done, Aika decided to go and see Asahi in his class.

"Hey yo Asahi, your girlfriend is here," his friend said. "I've told you time and again that she is my sister and not my friend," Asahi said to his friend. Asahi then went to Aika, "so what's up," he said.

"Would you look at those two, they sure look like a couple," a girl said. "I know right, I've also heard they also live in the same house with no parents," a guy said. "Well that's enough guys," Asahi said. "Aika is my sister nothing more nothing less," he continued. Soon, they left the classroom as they were going to the barricade on the last floor.

As they were walking, Asahi suddenly stopped as Aika bumped her head on Asahi's back. "Ow, hey Asahi, why did you stop," she asked. Asahi again was seeing the figure out Aika can't notice. "Asahi, Asahi, ASAHI," Aika yelled. "What's the matter with you," she said to her brother.

Asahi said it was nothing as he turned to look again but the figure left. Soon, they reached the last floor and we were on the barricade conversing.

Just as they were conversing, Aika asked Asahi a question. "Would you be sad if I left this world?" Asahi then thought of a question as to why his sister would ask that kind of question. "Of course, I'll be said but why this question," Asahi asked. "Because," she said as a grin appeared before her, "I'm not your sister." Aika then began to change form as she turned into a demon-like figure.

Asahi was stunned and scared as to how Aika just turned into a demon-like figure. "What's the hell is going on," he said. "Someone should tell me that I'm dreaming," he said. "This is not a dream Asahi, this is real," Aika said. Aika then leaped in the air ready to pounce on her brother but then, a shot was fired which hit Aika who was now a demon-like creature.

Asahi then turned and saw a girl who was holding a pistol. "What the... who are you," Asahi asked.

My name is Kazue Kobayashi and I'm a mage. Soon, Aika began to heal as she turned back into a human. "Hahahaha, that's sweet, an attack mage," Aika laughed. "What's going on here," Asahi asked.

Aika then clapped her hands as they were teleported to the past. "What's this place?" Asahi asked. "This is the world you use to live in," Aika said. Soon, Asahi then fell to the ground as he remembered a strange figure was just wiping out all of humanity so that no one will cease to exist.

Aika then clapped her hands again as they returned to the present. Soon, Kazue pointed her pistol at Aika as she told Aika to say her final words. Aika stood there saying that Kazue can't kill her. Kazue fired three shots but none of them pierced through Aika's body.

"I guess I'll have to go now," Aika said. "Till we meet again soon Asahi," she continued. She then left and it was left with just Kazue and Asahi. Kazue then pointed her pistol at Asahi telling him to die here for bringing a demon-like creature here.

"So what do you want me to do then," he asked. "Join our academy or you stay dead," Kazue said. Asahi immediately accepted her offer and Kazue left.

The next day

"So this is it, Ogrunarh, Institute of Magics," Asahi let out. Kazue then opened the door as she was as white as a sheet. "I find it so confusing as to how you accepted the offer fast," she said.

"So you wanted me to die," Asahi said. "Of course," Kazue replied.
