Angel silently paced down the dark alley way, her fists clenched ready to fight. Her footsteps were silent and her mouth was firmly shut. She shuffled past some bins and avoided puddles, her mind racing, her heart throbbing. Cautiously, she approached the light at the end of the alleyway she relaxed a little at the sight of the comforting sign of the sun's morning gleam and lowered her guard, unclenching her fists. Suddenly three men creeped out from their cover in the darkness and out in front of her blocking her path. All of them dressed in black and their faces screwed into ugly sneers, their lust for blood plastered across their faces. Angel deducted that they were in their thirties and in her opinion they looked uneducated and slow-witted. Angel shuddered then smiled arrogantly. The men were taken aback annoyance slowly seeping onto their expressions. They obviously didn’t like the fact that a high schooler looked down on them.
“Whatcha' smilin' at kid?” the tallest one snarled, he turns to the short thug "I think she wants to die Hunter!" his voice sounded like he smoked too many cigarettes. “This stupid girl is so annoying Raj...” the second and smallest one grunted to his tall friend. “Let’s kill her already boys!” the last and most ugly one grumbled to which both men reply with a hasty "Yes Mr. Gren sir!"and with that he produced a knife from his coat pocket. They slowly inched towards her, but Angel stood her ground. “who are you working for?” she ordered in an authorised voice. Halting the men stopped and laughed, their ugly voices irritating and raspy. “It seems fair for her to know who staged this glorious ambush!” bellowed the tallest one. At least these idiots had some morals. “… It was some rich kid … she called herself Queen” Angels eyes narrowed momentarily upon hearing the self-righteous name. She had predicted that there would be an ambush ready for her in this alleyway, deciding to go down it to show the attacker who’s boss. The men continued to approach her threateningly. But Angel stood firm, waiting until the gap between them was about a meter before she made her move. Swiftly she kicked the knife out Gren of, the most ugliest one’s, hand, using the momentum to punch him in the stomach forcefully. Instantly he falls to the floor with a dull thud. This somewhat offended Angel, this ‘Queen’ person couldn’t even give her decent opponents! The other two men charged at her, their eyes bulging with rage, both of their fists clenched. She dodges them with ease. Having fought better people with more experience she scoffs at them inwardly. Realising that she has gotten all the information she needs she decides that it would be better if there were no survivors to report back to their boss.
Its about time for her to finish this up.
