"Greetings eighty-nine, horrible scene we have on our hands tonight, this red midst is almost sickening" the soldier said holding the collar of his uniform to his mouth.

"Ah, yea, yes indeed, it's my first time on a scene this brutal, I dont think this was done by an animal either, maybe a demon?" I say following along with the dark haired soldier.

Following along with the soldier we come to a room with a caved in roof. Due to old age I suppose? Inspecting the room we find more blood and guts, this time, they were shaped... It was terrifying, you could feel this ominous presence lurking around it, it's like you could see the energy radiating off of the guts.

"Ahhh don't suppose this is why we were called to the scene sir?" Questioning my sanity while looking at the scene.

"I believe so, we're the two highest ranking unit members currently in this area, so I don't believe they'd put us on a case, where there's a chance that the scene was caused by low ranked mages" the soldier said, tensing his face up as if he was ready to explode.

"Demons huh? Haven't seen one of those since the attack of Bourne, it was brutal. We couldn't do anything without the Gods, honestly feels shameful that we were helpless without the Gods" I say thinking whether or not to keep going on about this.

Doom struck, we were defenceless. The room filled with bloodlust and demise, this feeling tore at my soul, crushing me from the inside. 'Is this death?' i thought to myself clinching at my chest. I look over to see if the soldier was alright, he too was in the same position as i was, defenceless, crouching on the ground and in agony holding our chest.

"Is this your first time experiencing something of this sort?" I ask him clinching my chest.

"No, it's exactly like when the battle of bourne was taking place, I felt something similar to this but, not of this intesity, this, this is crushing my soul. This feels like my very life force is being crushed while being taken directly from me" the soldier says to me trying to keep a straight face as not to worry me.

"We need to get out of this place. This is death! If something is making us feel this way, our difference in strength compared to this beast is simply too much" I say shouting at the soldier

The soldier agrees to escape this place along with me. Racing down the corridor, we came to a swift stop. A pressence had appeared in front of us, it at first, appeared to be a human but, as it came closer we realised immediatly that it was a demon, it had two horns, the horn on the left side was broken in half and the other was a full length horn.

"Oi, sir ready your weap-"

Before i could finish, the demon had already begun coming toward us at incredible speeds, this probably wasn't the fastest it could go however, due to the fact that the pressence had first come from behind us and appeared roughly ten metres in front of us. Me and the soldier weren't slow by any means, seeing as he was keeping up with me with relative ease, although i thought of myself as fast for finishing at the top of my unit in speed, the soldier keeping up with me was definitly surprising.

The soldier readied his spear out in front trying to use the momentum against the demon so he could get a quick attack. This didn't work. The soldier was struck with his own short-sword. I was hopeless, I couldn't even react to the demon coming towards us.

'It was to fast, I need to escape, oh god help, my legs aren't moving, I have to run, I NEED to run. But what about the soldier, No No, he's probably dead now anyway what's the point. Was that hit lethal? Can he still be saved? How long has it been? What did i train for? I can't beat this thing. Ahh that must be it, this is a dream yes, yes, a dream, of course its a dream'.

"Oi eighty-nine get up. I'm fine, the hit was lethal but i've managed to patch myself up so i should make it out of here. Lets go. Oh god he's in a daze, I can't get him out of here like this." 'How the hell can we get out like this, i have one fucking arm and this kid is on his knees starring into the ceiling having a god damn day dream'.

"Oi eighty-nine wake the hell up" I say rocking him from side to side.

'Oh god' I think to myself. you can't be serious right now. I've blinded the demon using my arm and exploding it with mana won't blind it for long because of how much mana it took just to shield myself from its first attack. Damn. Okay think, you need to think. What's the best possible solution for this.

"Unit 1, this is Roy. G. two. I'm currently experiencing an emergency code five, along with another: soldier eighty-nine. Please send help immediatly and if by the time you get here and don't find any bodies, RUN. This demon will not negotiate or listen to anyone, for this demon it's on sight"

"Send over a rescuer immediatly".

"Who shall we send sir, we have limited men on hand right now, we can only spare Shin. R. seven. as well as Loy. G. three. I respectfully don't think that we should send these soldiers out for a code five, where they're literally doomed to die".

"Doomed to die or not to die, we have to send out someone immediatly, like you said, it's a code five, code fives can evolve into code threes which in turn cause an even bigger emergency not only for the people experiencing the problem but us too because, as you've said, we don't have any more men to spare, so send someone out there right now".

"Loy... Are you alright, your brother's the one who called for this code five" shin said with a concerned look on his face.

"I just have to face it, face it head on. Haha he just got promoted to G Two, so he's quite capable" I say staring daggers at the oncoming trees, as i make my way towards the emergency.

The trees were massive all varying in colour, from red to blue, to black and white there were all sorts, it was like we weren't heading towards a code five emergency to rescue my brother. The dirt was soft, I see why all the trees grew massive. A few kilometres away from the emergency and I can already sense the bloodlust, i was getting goosebumps and the hairs on my arms were standing tall, the situation had already grown to a code four.

"I ask the Units one through three to send all remaining men to the emergency location. This situation has risen from a code five to a code four, assistance is required swiftly".

"Uh, Loy... This isn't looking great, i'm going to puke man, blood everywhere, you can see their intestines scattered over the floors, walls ,and even hanging from the ceiling, this is disgusting".

"You're right, this isn't looking great, the feeling of a presence is constantly lurking, and how big is this corridor? why is there one in the middle of this gigantic forest? It just seems like a tunnel or underpass".

Running with Shin i can feel mana surging from all sides of the corridor, it was as if it was alive. we have been running for ten minutes now and still no sign of Roy.

A screech came from down the corridor, loud clashes came along too. We continued running, there he was, Roy fighting a now, code four demon. I peer into his mana circuits, he's drained, almost all of his mana is gone. Roy had a bigger mana pool and circulation than the entire Unit he was tasked too. So how, how is he almost drained of mana, who's the soldier next to him?

"Loy watch out!!!" Shin says pushing me out of the way 

Shin was on the otherside of the corridor where Roy was fighting, How, it happened so fast, It looked as if the corridor around him was being compacted together. There was also a glint of black light, a shadow grabbed him.

"Shin!" I yell running as fast as possible towards the fight.

Circulating mana to my legs i jolt forward bending my back as I race towards the fight. Regaining posture im in full throttle, almost blowing past the fight i grab the demon and slam it into the corridors floor, cracking the floor and the walls.

"Shin give me some help here" I yell with sweat puring down my face.

Shin wraps a cloth around his hand chanting "O' Light O' light, perish who dishonour thee all father, leave no impurities, lead way to the promised haven".

shortly after this chant, mana rapidly circulated all around his body, emmiting a silver colour from his hand in the shape of a cross. Shin reached down towards the demon, putting it near it's face as if to taunt the demon.

"Shin, just make it quick, it's struggling a lot and we have a two heavily injured people we need to take care of".

"Yes, yes, i know, it might take a few seconds, this is a code four after all".

once again the corridor warped, it appeared to me like the structure of the building was bending, the demon was once again, on the otherside of the building again.
