Getting a job in the cemetery was the best thing that happened to Larry. It was just something about the dead bodies that intrigued him so. Dead women didn't complain. You could touch their hair, touch their lips, and all the time they looked so peaceful and content.

Tonight he dug a grave for a new guest. She was in her mid twenties.  Her curves reminded him of rolling hills. Wide hips, maybe a C cup breast, brown flowing locks that draped over her shoulder, it was hard for him to contain his excitement.

Larry watched carefully as the mortician prepared the body. In two days time, Larry knew this beauty will be his. Time could not seem to go by fast enough. Oh, she was beautiful. Her family had dressed her in a red dress and freshwater pearls.

It was obvious her family spared no expense for her funeral. Larry watched from the shadows and grabbed a funeral pamphlet with her name on it. Amber Lea Ross, aged 25. She was a teacher. She was also a only child.

Larry read more about her. He wanted tonight to be special. Amber may be the best he ever had. No more will he have to touch old women. For once, it was a young body. He wanted this to be special.

That night Larry went to the grocery store. He picked out a bottle of champagne, bought a nice blanket. Tonight was going to be perfect. He and Amber alone on top of a blanket in the cemetery making love.

He let out a low laugh as he thought to himself, all his ex lovers buried underneath were going to be so jealous. He paid for his purchases and quickly headed for the cemetery.

Eagerly, he began to dig. He imagined her ice cold breasts being forever perky. Inside him excitement grew. Time seemed to pass quicker as he stayed in his perverted thoughts.

It didn't take long to reach Amber's casket. Just as he was about to open her casket, sounds emerged from inside. It sounded like a knock, then a scratch. Oh, Larry couldn't believe this. She must be alive inside.

He pried open that casket and in what seemed like a flash, her pale arms were around his neck. This was the love he longed for. He wrapped his arms around Amber and closed his eyes taking in her scent of formaldehyde.

His peace and joy was shattered as Amber took a bite from his neck. Larry became the first victim of the zombie outbreak. If only Larry had left that grave alone.
