I had no reason to make a hand of sand except out of curiosity. I could request the sand to go around my palm and fingers. It was totally amiable and did as I wished. I am pleased that most drean have a Mina affinity. Then irritation grew as the sand always sifted down between my fingers and over the sides of my hand. Slower than gravity would call the grains, but still falling. As in not staying on my hand like a glove. 

I began with runes made of Flora and light. Bright green gjioscript flowed poetically around my digits and palm. Within, the sand sifted and churned but did not spill. Instead, it flowed like a true river-current of sand. More a sea than the sandsea istelf. 

I was proud of myself. I have recorded my studies in another parchment roll. I can't imagine this will ever be useful, but maybe a future me will think of something.
