Hello! Before the novel starts I just wanted to introduce myself and give a few warnings. 

     My name is Ash and I am a short story writer. I've written a few short thrillers in notebooks but never thought to try and publish one until now. Asylum is something I've been wanting to write for a while now. Mental illnesses have always facinated me and so I've done quite a bit or research to make this as acurate as I can. Now, this story will have some elements that could be triggering for some readers. There will be scenes where characters harm others and themselves. In no way do I condone violence to others or yourself but I had to include it in the story to make it seem more real. If self-harm or violence triggers you, you do not have to read it.
