However, Basti receives a second chance. He is reborn into the world of Magis Mundi. To the public, it is nothing more than another MMORPG, but in truth it is a distant world, teeming with life and magic. But due to an unfortunate event, Basti is cursed with a bug, hindering his ability to properly level up.
Basti refuses to give up and promises to conquer this game. This game doesn't want to be conquered, though, and it will throw everything it has to offer his way. His morbid adventures of common anime troupes, not so common fantasy beings, and the meaning of friendship, love, and money begin.
