The Truth Of The Polar Day, The Polar Night, And The Annular Solar Eclipse
Scientists are wrong about the astronomical phenomena. Let me tell you the truth about how the polar day, the polar night, and the annular solar eclipse happen.
In the solar system, there was a great empress, The Sun, who ruled over the day. Her younger sister, The Moon, assisted her by taking care of the night. However, The Moon always felt lonely, as the night was much less vivid than the day. One day, while wandering on the clouds, The Moon noticed something unusual: a prince dressed in black with two large horns and a long tail standing on one of her clouds.
“What are you doing here? This cloud is my private property,” said The Moon.
“I beg your pardon, Princess Moon. I’m here to paint from life,” answered the dark prince.
“Haha, you must be joking. It’s so dark right now that even the greatest artist couldn’t draw at this hour,” giggled The Moon.
“Not unless you let me paint your sky,” said the dark prince.
“You don’t even have brushes, do you?” asked The Moon.
“No, but I paint with my heart and soul. Please grant me your endless canvas, my lady,” said the dark prince.
“Sure, but I still don’t think you can draw anything without paint and brushes,” said The Moon, mockingly.
The dark prince took off his suit. The Moon blushed, having never seen a man before. He then opened his chest and dipped blood from his heart. He began with tiny spots and lines until the sky was full of stars and constellations.
“Wow… that’s magnificent,” said The Moon, amazed.
The dark prince was nearly dead after losing a great amount of blood. He kneeled down quickly, knowing dawn was approaching.
“Your sister is on the way. I will die under her light. Would you help me move my body into the shadows?” asked the dark prince.
Seeing the dying prince, The Moon was very nervous.
“Of course. Where do you live? I can walk you home,” said The Moon.
“You are so kind. My lady, I live in hell where no light can enter. I’m not sure if you can pass the gate,” said the dark prince.
“Well, don’t worry about that. I’m The Moon, the only light in the darkness,” said The Moon.
So, The Moon left the sky and brought the dark prince back to his home. She stayed with him to help him heal his wounds. It was the first time the dark prince had experienced light in his life. The Sun discovered that The Moon was missing and searched for her for months. That’s when the polar day occurred. Eventually, she found her sister sleeping in the dark prince’s arms in the palace of hell. The Sun wanted to take The Moon away, but The Moon had already given her heart to the dark prince, who would never let her feel alone in the pitch-black sky. Furious, The Sun was about to punish The Moon for leaving the sky and abandoning her chastity. The dark prince begged her not to take his beloved away. He knelt before the queen and tried to negotiate. Soon after, the annular solar eclipse occurred. Realizing there was no way to separate the lovers, The Sun took out family rings made of sunlight and granted her approval for their future marriage. After that, day and night continued until their wedding day. The dark prince kissed the bride as they vowed their love to each other. All the dark creatures danced and sang together merrily to celebrate the union of the lovers for almost three months, which is what humans call the polar night.
