Read Behind the Scenes: Building Quaraun's Universe - A Worldbuild Guide For Fantasy Writers

I am constantly answering questions on forums, on FaceBook, on Reddit, and from readers about how I build/write/create various aspects of my world, it's characters, and it's magic system. I've written several hundred such answers over the years, and it occurred to me, that over time, forum posts get buried and lost and after a feew weeks, or sometimes even a few days, the post never gets read again. And that got me to thinking, how a lot of what I've written about world building, character creating, magic system building, and just writing Fantsy in general would be useful to more people than just the 3 or 4 people who were on the original forum posts.

Well... I NEVER post anything online, without first saving a copy to my harddrive, and I just checked... since 1996, I have written more then 15,000 very long forum post guides on how to write Fantasy, how to build worlds, how to create cultures, how to create characters, and how to build a magic system!

Yie! I had no idea it was that many!

So, I decided, why not spend 2022, sorting through those files and uploading them here, for people to get a chance to read them. Who knows, maybe the info will be helpful to someone?
