A gasp of air.

In front of her was a glass wall. She put her hands on the cool surface. It wasn't a glass wall, she was in a glass tube.

'Designation Poppy, you are a toon whose sole purpose is to bring happiness and education to children that enter this building. Go out and fufil said purpose'

The tube opened an she immediately tries to take a step forward only to fall to the floor instead.

Face first.

'Ow' She thought, rubbing her head as she raised herself into a kneeling position.

'Okay, If I can't walk yet, then I'll crawl to the wall'

After sometime, she managed to crawl to the wall and placed a hand on it and raised herself into a standing position. She looked back at the machine that she came out of.

'Poppy' It read

'Right Pop-py, that's what the voice called me'

Around her machine, there were others. Much more. None of the others had 'Poppy' written on them though. Goob, Sprout,Scraps... Some even had nothing written on them just a multicolored writing saying 'Toon design in process'

The other machines were all closed though. Except from the 'Poppy' machine.

And another.

It read 'Boxten'

"Box...ten" She mumbled, then her eyes widened in shock.

Her voice...

She sounded amazing!

"Is this what I sound like?" She whispered though her voice was louder than before.

Poppy turned her head to see a door. It read 'Staff Only' 

'I mean I technically just got a job so...'

She opened the door. 

There in front of her was a counter.

She looked up. There was a sign saying 'Welcome to Gardenview'

In a shelf, there were 'Caution: Wet floor' signs and a couple of alphabet blocks.

"Okay..."

Then there were rules

'Don't throw things at toons

No photography around ASTRO

Next to the rules was the drawing of some smiling flower thing.

With a few shaky steps, Poppy reached the counter. there was a pillow there. She patted the pillow and a lot of dust came out.

Poppy coughed

"Woah, has this place been abandoned or..." another cough "poorly kept. Climbing over the counter, she took some more steps.

"Okay...I feel like I've got the hang of this" She whispered walking down. There were crayon markings on the floor and posters on the walls.

Poppy picked up a red crayon. "I'm keeping this"

Then she heard a ticking sound. Poppy paused and turned round.

"Hello?" She whispered

There was a sign 'Gardenview' with more smiling characters.

'Huh, thought I heard something'

DING!

Poppy turned her head to the bell's sound

"Hello?" She asked again.

She walked up to it, next to the bell was a stack of boxes. Untop of them was a purple box with a wind up key.

Poppy reached for the key.

"What the..." she started

The box turned to reveal a face.

Poppy screamed

Boxhead screamed too.
