''They're all dead!''

He was staring into space with empty eyes. The room was dark but not completely, a dim light revealing some shadows.

''Dan?'' Said a girl who looked like a silhouette of TV interference to the boy's eyes. ''Dan, wake up!''

His eyes were fixed on the source of the sound but they were so blank you'd think he was dead.

The girl then approached him and gathering strength in her hands, began to shake him by the shoulders. But in vain since he remained motionless as if someone had sucked his life out.

''Can't you see? They are all dead!''
