Every glass object breaks differently when shattered into pieces. The same goes towards people, each can be broken differently beyond repair. However, given the right amount of time and the right person, broken glass can be turned into something new, better than it was before.

For Yuki Nanase, prince of the mage kingdom Vesperia, he was shattered due to the loss of his lover Ryu Belmont. The two tied together both the mage and warrior kingdoms through their love. However, the loss of Ryu rose eyes in suspicion. This led to thoughts of attempted murder hanging in the air, throwing both kingdoms out of their peace into what would become a bloody war.

Second in command of the warrior kingdom army, Vayne Belmont, younger brother of Ryu could care less about any wars. The only thing on his mind day in and day out was his older brothers lover, Yuki.
