DISCLAIMER: CLASH NOW AVAILABLE! READ THAT BEFORE THIS STORY!

UPDATE (11/09/2024): GoneCallibur here with some news: I have began publishing the original CLASH story, which is available in my account or through this link:
https://tapas.io/series/CLASH-story/info
If you want to learn more about Natsume and what happened before the events of this story, you can go ahead, subscribe and read a new chapter every Wednesday and Saturday.
Hi everybody,
I'm GoneCallibur, ocassional artist. If you are reading this, first of all, thank you for giving a chance to my work! I'm sure I'm still new in all this, but I just want to have fun creating stories XD.
So, before reading the story, there are some things I wanted to make clear:
1- What is "CLASH: Love in overtime"?
To answer that, first there is another question: what is "CLASH"? CLASH is an original story of mine where Natsume, a 16 yo teenager, travels into a different world to take part in a magical tournament. It's a story of struggle and self-discovery... that I have yet to write (but all the details are in my head).
So then, what is CLASH: Love in overtime? (From now on, CLASH: LIO). CLASH: LIO is a spin-off story that I recently came up with. It takes place after the events of the original CLASH story and it focuses on Kaori, Natsume's mother, after the teen came back from her own adventure. It is also a story about self-discovery and love.
2- Wait, are you publishing the spin-off before the main story?
Eeeeeehm... yep, that's right. The truth is, for me, I visualize CLASH as a manga and I'd love to do it one day. However, I'm a newbie artist with little experience (my experience so far is my other manga Transgender Universes). The thing is that I can't go ahead with such a big project as CLASH with so little experience, that's why I started with the other project first: the stories are shorter, so they serve as practice. Because of that, CLASH is meant to be a future project.
However, I recently came up with CLASH: LIO and I liked the story so much... that I started writing it XD. It is a "short" story technically and writing for me is faster. After 1-2 weeks, I finished it and I thought "why don't I post it somewhere?". And here we are. I wrote it first in my native language and I'm translating it into English little by little.
3- So... what does this mean?
Why am I telling you all this? Since this is a spin-off for a story that I have yet to "make" in some format, there will be characters and concepts that you may not understand. For example, what was Natsume's original intention in her story? Who is this character mentioned at one specific point? Or what is the "Guardian Clash Tournament"? Those are things that belong to the original story and are not developed in depth here because this is Kaori's story, not Natsume's. All those things can be considered "tiny" and not knowing them doesn't affect at all the story surrounding Kaori, but I understand it can be confusing to have poorly-explained details. It is true that there will be a quite big spoiler at the beginning and that will be connected to Kaori's story, so yeah, that's something I can't avoid.
What I mean with this is the following: if you are OK with reading a story which will mention some little things that can't be easily understood, then I invite you to keep reading. However, if not knowing all the details can be a problem for you, then it's OK if you don't want to read it. Maybe one day I will be able to work on CLASH and share the whole story, but for now, this is what I have to offer.
I hope this solves all the possible problems, and also, I hope you enjoy reading this short story!
Natsume, a 16 yo teenager, comes back after the biggest adventure of her life. But the end of her journey marks the beginning of Kaori's journey as the 45 yo mother discovers more about her own past and her future wishes. A story after self-exploration and love between women.
