I walked through the cemetery with a feeling of fear. It didn't help the fact that it was eerily cold out in the middle of summer. Even for Evansville it seemed odd.
Why was I told to go here?
Why a cemetery of all places?
I still don't know who this person. More importantly why am I listening to what he's telling me to do? To be honest I don't even know if this thing is human. Yet everything in my body says go, but my mind tells me no. Red flags keep going up, signaling me to stop and run away.
How did he, I mean it, predict those deaths?
How would it know exactly what was going to happen?
"I'm glad you showed up", said a deep, raspy voice off in the distance, "I was beginning to wonder if you would even show up", followed by a soft chuckle.
"I'm here now. You care to explain what fuck just happened?", I yelled back with a little panic in my tone.
"Now, Now. There's no need to get hasty. Come, come. I have something I want to show you", he said with a soft chuckle again. "You my friend have been one busy guy."
"What do you mean?", as I walked over to where he was pointing.
As I looked down, I was in disbelief.
It's not possible....
How would this make since.....
Then everything I did.......
"I told you that you wouldn't be disappointed", he belted out with a very devious laugh, "Now that you know the real truth, lets have some real fun."
