“Shoto!” Mei ran to one of her older brothers, and helped him stand. “Mei? What are you doing, dad’s gonna come.” Shoto said, trying not to hurl for the second time. “Come on, mama is going to distract Enji, and Fuyumi made cold soba!” She tried to run holding her brother by the arm. “SHEZUMEI!!” Endeavour was fuming. “Mei, it's ok Father will eventually catch up.” Shoto pulled
away from his sister's arm, and ran in the opposite direction of Mei, so she would not get in trouble. The oldest of the five, Touya, came to Mei. “Hey, Shoto will be ok, let's go play some soccer. I’ll get Fuyumi and Natsu.” He held out his hand towards Mei, knowing his sister was worried. The red haired girl grabbed his hand and walked with him outside. “Brother, will Shoto be ok?” Mei said, Looking back from time to time. “Look, Mei I can't promise he will, dad has hurt all of us, and what's stopping him from doing it again?” Touya was never good at making people feel better so he doesn't try sugar coating things.
A Year Later
(Yelling) The young girl came walking into the room. “Mama? What’s the ye- SHOTO” the red head gripped her stuffed rabbit she was holding and ran towards her brother. “Mei, you're leaving for the United States until you're sixteen. I was just on the phone with your auntie..” the girl couldn’t believe her ears, she had to leave?!
A Few Years Later
*RINNNNG* “Alright student- MS. TODOROKI SIT NOW! THE BELL DOESN'T DISMISS YOU I DO! YOU GOT THAT?! I don’t know how it is in China but here in AMERICA the teachers dismisses you.” Mrs. Callus (Cal-Us) always pointed out different kids’ races but Mei’s the most. “First, it’s JAPAN. Second, I’ve only been schooled in America. Third, STOP POINTING OUT MY RACE” Mrs. Callus always pointed out where Mei came from, every chance she got, even though she keeps getting it wrong. Mei did not appreciate that.”TO THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE NOW!!” Mei stared at her teacher for a long while, not moving. “Bell already rang, sorry.” Mei knew they couldn't expel her. There was only one day left until Christmas break, and she had already turned 16. Shezumei had stormed out the room slamming the door behind her and heading to her next class. As Mei walked to her next class she saw the counselor Ms. Taylor had a few students helping her hang a huge calendar that had ‘ JANUARY’ written in bold grey almost black letters. “Ms. Taylor, I thought January isn’t for another four weeks?” Ms. Taylor jumped. After seeing Shezumei, breathing a sigh of relief. “ Haha you scared me. We are getting ready for after Christmas break. Speaking of, aren’t you leaving after school?” She looked a little sad that Mei was leaving for a whole new country. “Yea, it’s going to be a bit sad but at least I can become a great hero fighting alongside my brother!” The red haired girl punched the air as if a villain was right in front of her. “Yea I heard Japan has one of the best hero courses! Ummmmm U.H or something??” “Heh U.A, and yes I’m going there. My father doesn’t want his children to be seen anywhere else. Of course unless they don’t want to become a hero. My sister is a teacher, and my oldest brother is still in college, studying something called medical welfare or something like that. I forgot, I haven't talked to him in years.” “Oh cool! Well I wish you the best in life, and I hope you come visit me ten years from now, haha! You better get to class or you’ll be tardy, have a good last day, Mei!” They waved goodbye. Mei speed walked all the way to her next class, not wanting to run and upset her counselor. Before the girl could even blink it was the last class of the day. “MEI- WAIT UP YOU’RE SO FAST” The loud blonde was trying to catch up to Mei, her best friend. “I was taught to walk with purpose and not be late to ANYTHING.”the blonde headed girl sighed “come on you haven’t seen him in years why do you still follow his rules!” “I only follow two, which are actually good rules. One-“ “Walk with purpose, and only interrupt someone when they’re wrong. Yeah, yeah. Girl you get repetitive sometimes!” The blonde snickered at her friend who was not as giggly as her. “Hey I was wondering if I could go with you to the airport and see you off.” Her tone had changed drastically, from a cheerful grin to a somber frown. “Of course you can, my aunt wouldn’t mind driving you home.” “YAY ROAD TRIP!! To send my best friend off…” Shezumei hugged her best friend hoping to reassure her that everything will be alright and they’ll see each other later on in life.
(That night after Mei said her goodbyes and packed up) “come on Delilah let’s go I said goodbye to Uncle Liam” “Alright Shezumei haha that sounds weird to say'' The blonde said as they got into the car “Auntie can I still come over for dinner sometimes to get away?” The blonde looked somberly to the red heads aunt as if she was her own. The woman looked at Delilah and sighed “Of course and I’ll show you some pictures of Mei when she was a small one.” “Aunt Alice!” The red head looked away from her friend to hide her red face. After an hour drive of fun for the last time, they got out of the car and walked to the waiting area to wait for Mei to board. “Flight 2197 to Tokyo is now boarding” the two best friends looked at each other. “So this is goodbye” “yea I guess it is but I’ll text you when I get home. Tell me all the tea and don’t forget your possible love interests!” Mei said giggling while crying simultaneously. “And tell me if there are any hot j-drama worthy men there please” The blonde said as she was also crying and laughing. The red head got out her ticket and said her final goodbyes. “Better go before I miss my flight. Byeeee!” She got on the plane and was nervous of what her family had become and if she had some good clothes for the Japan winter and was ready to see the Sakura trees in springtime.
The ride was 16 hours with one stop between. She spent the last four hours of the first flight sleeping, and spent the first four hours of the last flight also sleeping. She was glad she got to catch up on her sleep but was too nervous to sleep the last four hours, which she could’ve easily done due to the fact she hasn’t slept in the last three nights. Finally she reached the airport and was more excited than nervous at this point to be on the ground.”Haha Japan! I’ve missed ya!” Mei was walking backwards while basking in the sunlight, not watching behind her. “HEY WATCH IT EXTRA YOU ALMOST BUMPED INTO ME!!” The girl whips her head around to see a spiky haired guy not much taller than her standing with a red spikey haired boy. “Ah sorry sir!” She said not realizing this was the same kid who’d won the sports festival that she’d watched back in America. On the other hand she had recognised the red haired boy because of his seemingly doppelganger that he’d apparently never known until the sports festival. “Hey wait a minute you’re Eijirou Kirishima and that means you must be uhm- Katsuki Bakugou.” Kirishima stared at the red head confused as to why she knew their name forgetting that they are practically famous. “And you are?” There was a slight pause. “Ah sorry I'm Mei, Just moved from America looking to join U.A.” Mei said, trying to sound as casual as she could. “That's cool! Is there anyone that inspires you?” Kirishima said with a bright smile that he usually has. “Oh no one really but I enjoy watching my big brother fight!” She looked at them with a shimmer in her eye, because she really did love watching the sports festival. “Who's that extra, I bet I could beat his ass in an instant!” Bakugou spoke very loudly, which made Mei cringe in annoyance. “well..”
A girl was separated from her family due to violence to return when she's old enough to go to the prestigious highschool U.A. She is happy to be back but due to changing times it comes with some misfortune and of course some good ole drama
