Monday 4th September 2023 

Dear Diary, 

OH MY GOD! I’M SO EXCITED! WE’RE RETURNING TO SCHOOL TODAY! 

We’re now in Year 10! This is it! We’re starting our GCSE options this year. I can’t wait to see everyone again! We’re all so grown up now. All the boys are probably going to be really tall now too. I know that Luke’s had a growth spurt over the summer. Unfortunately, I haven’t :( 

I really hope me and Sofia are going to be in the same classes this year. She didn’t actually get around to telling me what subjects she’ll be taking. Oh well, I’m sure I’ll find out when I see her again later. No matter what subjects she’s taking, we’ll be as close as ever. After all, we are the unstoppable duo. Especially when it comes to science practicals. 

This year is going to be so much fun. We’ll finally be studying the subjects we want to. There’s also so many opportunities for older students, such as becoming prefects. And we’ll be doing our work experience this year! I CAN’T WAIT! 

There’s never a dull day at school. Although I should probably go now, wouldn't want to be late on the first day back. I’ll talk to you later.
