"He just wants attention, he's a brat." Maria said, Ludwig's mother but her sister didn't agree with her. "Not true, his hearing is really going worse." Emily said, the sister. Maria just frowned and didn't want to believe her sister. "Please let me just go with Ludwig to the doctor once, to check up on his ears." Emily tried to push to convince her sister but Maria shook her head. "Not a chance. Don't you have an idea what a doctor costs?" Maria asked but Emily narrowed her eyes.

Money wasn't a problem, Maria was just too egoistic to spend money on something that wasn't for her. She didn't care about her sons' health and especialy not about the health of her youngest son, Ludwig. She only saw Ludwig as a source of even more of a money income than her husband already gave her. And only because Ludwig could compose music that no other small child could. The little boy could play the piano and violin very beautifully and rich people wouldn't pay to see someone play that beautiful. But the money that Ludwig earned wasn't for himself. It all went to dresses, juwelry and other crap that his mother bought for herself.

This resulted in a bad relationship not only between Ludwig and his parents but also between the boy and his two older brothers. The two boys hated him and liked to bully him just because they were jealous of his talent.

This was sadly not the end of Ludwig's long suffering, it was just the beginning of it.
