Prologue
The star Stellanova, once a blazing giant in the deep arms of the Empyrean galaxy, burned its last.
It did not fade.
It did not collapse quietly.
It screamed.
A colossal eruption of light and fury exploded across the cosmos, painting the void in streaks of molten white. But this was no natural death. No slow burn into supernova.
The destroyer had come.
He was called Starter—an ancient being whose very presence warped the laws of energy. Wherever he wandered, he did not simply kill stars. He mutated them, twisting their radiation into something no physicist could chart, no god could predict.
On that day, as Starter drifted through the battlefield between the Canisians and the Nissians, two proud races locked in intergalactic war—he extended his hand toward Stellanova.
The star tore itself apart.
Its energy did not scatter into nothingness but bent, twisted, and churned into new forms. Mutated cosmic rays, unstable, lashed across space, ripping through ships and soldiers. The Canisians howled in agony. The Nissians, proud warriors, fell screaming as their bodies melted and reformed into unstable husks of living light.
And in the chaos, a single fragment of that mutated energy found its host—a dying Canisian soldier.
For a brief, horrifying moment, star and flesh fused. Then came silence, and the soldier was no more. Only a sphere of burning radiance drifted in the void.
It would not stay there.
A shockwave hurled the orb across galaxies, through the cold emptiness, until it fell, silent and glowing, through the blue skies of a small planet called Earth.
