The brook gurgles around the village, and a shepherd boy rides a cow and plays a flute.
In the village, smoke rises from every house, and there are faint voices.
Along the way, in the paddy field, the old man who is planting rice laughs and shouts to the shepherd boy.
"What a peaceful farm scene."
At the bridge at the entrance of the village, several figures slowly approached, each wearing simple clothes, but with a burly figure and extraordinary momentum. The leader looked at the scene in front of him and laughed.
"Are you passing by?"
The old man who was planting rice also saw a few people and greeted them.
"Passing by?" The leader said, walking to the edge of the field, "Old man, there is an old scholar living in your village, right?"
"You mean Mr. Qiu?" The old man was simple and happy to hear the words, "Are you here to find the master? But his friend?"
"Friend?" The leader shook his head, "It's our king who wants to find him!"
"King?" The old man's face suddenly changed, and he took two steps back. He saw the man in front of him suddenly opened his mouth, and his lips expanded rapidly. In a blink of an eye, he was one person taller than him, and the inside was red!
The smell was pungent!
Before the old man could shout, the mouth rushed over.
Crack!
With a crisp sound, the leader slightly bent down, and his head turned into a huge wolf head, chewing with a wolf mouth, and blood flowed from the corner of his mouth.
"Ahhh!"
A shrill scream came from the side. It was the shepherd boy who turned his head and saw the scene of a human head turning into a wolf and swallowing a human. He screamed in horror. The buffalo under him seemed to be stimulated. It mooed and stamped its hooves towards the village.
"Can you run away?"
The wolf-headed man spat out a piece of bone with tendons and blood. He waved his hand. Several people behind him laughed grimly, their clothes torn, revealing the appearance of wild beasts, and rushed towards the village.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
After a few ups and downs, they caught up with the shepherd boy.
Screaming, roaring, swallowing, the shepherd boy and the cow were eaten, leaving a field of blood and broken bones, dyeing the soil red.
Then, several people did not stop and entered the village.
The whole village was boiling, men roared, and women wailed.
The setting sun was like fire, the clouds seemed to be burning, and half the sky was red.
The wolf-headed man's head had shrunk to normal size, with a trace of blood on his mouth, and he walked towards the village step by step.
Halfway through, a pig ran out of the village. It had a fat head and a bloated body, but it was moving fast and ran to the wolf-headed man with a wheezing sound.
"General," the pig's face was shy, and its bloody mouth smacked, "I killed that poor guy."
"Huh?" The wolf's eyebrows frowned like a human.
"Don't blame me! Don't blame me!" The pig head shook, "I didn't touch that old guy before he said a lot of gibberish, and then hit his head and died!"
"Killed?" The wolf-headed man looked puzzled, but then he thought, "Forget it, an old scholar, let him die. At such an old age, our princess probably won't look down on him. There are several villages around, and there will be no shortage of scholars. Catch a few more."
The big pig breathed a sigh of relief when he heard it, and then thought of something else, and hurriedly said, "The old scholar has a son, who looks handsome and much better than the old scholar!"
"Son?" The wolf-headed man nodded, "Catch him, check it out later, if he has no meritorious service, kill him and eat his meat. Scholars are bathed in the teachings of saints, and their meat is very crisp."
As soon as he finished speaking, several urgent roars came from the front, and then a wooden-faced man hurried over: "General! It's bad! The scholar's son ran away!"
"Run away?" The wolf-headed man looked unhappy, "How can a mortal escape from you?"
"General, you don't know..."
The wooden-faced man was about to explain when he was interrupted by the wolf-headed man: "Forget it, it doesn't matter. The deadline is approaching, and the most urgent thing is to save a few villages."
"But," the wooden-faced man hesitated, "Crow has already caught up."
………………
Blood dripped.
A green shadow ran in the mountains and forests, turning several times, all in remote places in the forest.
It was a young man in his twenties, dressed like a scholar, holding a broken sword in his hand, with blood on the sword.
"Hu~"
He was panting heavily, his green shirt was tattered, mostly scratched by branches in the forest, and near his shoulders, it was stained with a lot of blood.
Sweat kept dripping from his forehead, the scholar looked terrified, and turned his head back from time to time.
"Monster, monster!" He muttered, and ran forward a few more steps. The trees and grass around him became more and more lush, and the fear in his heart became more and more vigorous.
Suddenly!
His feet slipped, and the mud under his feet rolled down. The scholar felt that his feet were empty, and the whole person lost balance and rolled down.
Whoosh.
The green shirt fluttered on the hillside, and finally stopped in a patch of grass.
"It hurts, it hurts!"
The scholar had a few more wounds on his body, and a bloody wound on his face was faintly visible. The broken sword in his hand fell somewhere unknown.
Flutter! Flutter!
The sound of flapping wings came faintly from a distance. The scholar was startled, barely supported the ground, and stood up tremblingly. There was blood on his legs. He kicked hard and fell again.
